After listening to it, at least twice, the best way for me to explain it: it’s a gateway song for one to get into Tyler. It’s sober version of Tyler. I really the songs. His new stuff will apparently be more gospel flavored. And three versions of each song. The information I’ve heard is from another RU-vid channel: Grady Smith.

Not knowing what a werther is baffles me. I thought every boomer and their parents had a bowl of werthers in their kitchen at all times

I feel like that lyric does sort of trivialize Christianity unfortunately. I do love this song and love Tyler and this won't impact my excitement of the album. However, at the same time I feel like it poses as Christian with a serious flaw. I mean with any religion, Christianity included, it's inherently exclusive. Everyone has access to Christ and his forgiveness and mercy, but the fear of the Lord doesn't mean just everyone gets into Heaven whether they follow Him or not. The Christian way is the way (if you believe in Christianity). I think there is a danger in trying to pose as Christian or align with Christian thoughts but really speak more of a universalist approach. I hope this makes sense and encourages dialogue, but regardless I'm super excited for the album!

The idea of everyone going to heaven is nice, but you won’t find that in the Bible.

Let me tell you something about Appalachian people, if you don’t like a song they wrote or anything else they do let me be the first to tell you they don’t give a damn……not 1.

Never give up on Jesus, he's the only way to heaven, you need that "know so" salvation. I got in my lowest place, being almost completely blind and I asked to see his face if he really cares about me. He came to me in a dream, standing in front of me with his arms wide open and smiling, it was the most amazing experience. He's restoring my vision now, I know he real and he cares. He's right there waiting on you to give him your whole heart, not just part of it.
