Today by watching your reaction video, I probably accumulated like 100 views of Angelina's singing this song......and it still touched me deeply. No matter how many times I have to type this, I have to say that she is one of the most important singers in this era (and the eras to come!!). There are good singers. There are unique singers. There are old souls. There are humble people. But, you seldom see all these happen on one person......and that person is Angelina Jordan. Truly at a national treasure level and I still think she is one of a billion. May God give her the best possible singing career, if she wants it.
The 1st time I heard her sing this on America's Got Talent, I seriously think I was in a state of shock......I absolutely adore QUEEN, & especially our beloved Freddie, & never thought in a trillion years, I could like another version, & though there will never be another Freddie, & the original is untouchable, Angelina's voice & reflection of the song, has a space all of it's own.......I also had goosebumps all through her performance, in places I had no idea you could get goosebumps!!! This is the best re-interpretation of this song I've ever heard, even though it's just a part of the song. She's come a long way form an amazing start. And don't feel bad. Angelina doesn't belt often but when she does, she can melt your soul.

Yeah... "you haven't heard nuttin yet". She has so many where she really lets loose, and all are amazing, but my favorite with the high notes, has to be her "I Have Nothing (Whitney Houston Tribute)". I do so love watching people be amazed at this artist every time she sings. The very last song released as of now, written for her by a fellow Norwegian EDM duo called TRXD, called "Above The Water" (audio only) shows that there is no limit to the genre of music she can cover. I'm enjoying following you on your journey. I look forward to many more.
Angelina pulled the opening note spot on out of nowhere (no music cue). Queen gave its blessing on this performance. She sneaks in melismas when you aren't ready. The air support she controls enabled her to ascend into the high belting note that stunned Aleisha Dixon. This was Angelina's introduction to the viewing audience across America and in other countries around the world that carried the broadcast. This performance was pulled from RU-vid for awhile due to Angelina retaining exclusive rights to the selection and AGT not sharing in those rights. Good for you for allowing the Barefoot Angel to smack you again.
I am almost certain that the cue was in her ear piece. When you have an instrument joining you after an acapella start it is usually advisable to have a cue note.

We all understand that need to jump forward. I started at this song and went back to the beginning. I was amazed, as you were, with 7,8,9 year old Angelina. But, it doesn't stop. 10 year old Angelina is a consummate professional. 11,12,13 before and after this one will have you looking for your heart medicine again. I am so glad to see that you recognize Angelina’s unique abilities as a musician. Yes there are many very talented child singers, but none of them are on Angelina’s level. The vast majority of child singers are one dimensional and do not have Angelina’s uncanny maturity, professionalism and vocal versatility. Angelina doesn’t need to belt out high notes or extend the song with unending runs to earn our appreciating, respect and admiration. Angelina’s supremely gifted ability to rearrange a song and then perform it with the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar or piano and then hold us speechless and spellbound says it all.
I believe this breathy melismatic style is Angelina's chosen style going forward, and likely helped seal the deal on the Republic Records contract. With the fact the family has turned down all contract offers since Angelina was 8, and now accepts this one, tells me that this deal was definitely in Angelina's best interests, otherwise I don't believe it would have been accepted. I can't wait for Angelina's first Republic release, and hope she truly is their "highest priority new artist," as that statement by them means they are going to spend the money to promote her music to the max. Elsewhere I have commented that when Angelina finally puts her signature on a contract she would have such a huge following that she would be able to dictate terms to the other party. That is what resulted from her appearance on AGT. She definitely has the goods to back it up.

I honestly don't like her cover for The Show Must Go On. There are just a few songs that I think she missed the target with her cover. A very few. That one is one of them.
We have all been waiting for you to check this one out! Chronological is good, but I also think it's great that you jumped ahead to see this masterpiece. I think it will help you appreciate the younger stuff even more to see where she is currently. (well... where she was a year ago, as this was recorded in Oct 2019). This one really drives it home that Angelina is not just a great child singer... Angelina is an artist. So now when you see her do "It's a Mans World" at 12, or "Cry Me A River" at 11, or "Every time we say goodbye" at 10... you will see that her age is not really a factor in what makes her so great... she is just an artist and always has been.

She actually has created a brand new song---very bluesie with a jazz vibe. Basically, she should have won this fiasco, but singers have no chance under this stupid voting system. But she did get the golden buzzer and received worldwide exposure. And she has just signed with Republic Records, one of the best companies in the music industry. So I'd say Angelina is doing just fine. If you look at the two year history of this show, singers do not do well under this stupid voting system. Also, there are no strings attached to winning this show like there are with the regular AGT. And her exposure would have been even greater if she had won. And there would have been no obligation for her to do anything. Although I'm quite happy with the way things have turned out.

There was chatter going around that Angelina's voice was not suitable for the high notes - fans disagreed and simply stated that she doesn't go there to show off, but goes there only when she feels the artistry of the song needs it. Yes this. She has proved in several recordings that she has the chops to go big. But she doesn't need that to convey emotion and meaning, and she has a wonderful musical sense. I dearly hope to be around in 10 or 15 years to hear where she goes, because at 14 she's already phenomenal.

Her respect for her craft, the artists she covers, and the respect for her instrument which is her voice is what makes her that much more powerful because she takes all the precautions, makes all the arrangements and that is why she can deliver such powerful renditions. She understands music and im so grateful she has such a great family unit that has protected her from the pariahs of Hollyweird and elsewhere that would seek to exploit such raw talent. She is the 8th wonder of the world to me and im so excited to see what comes next for her. 💓

Angelina, my favorite singer that I discovered just late last year has had me listening to her songs everyday since then. My only regret is that I am not a young person to see all of her future material. Superb reaction Soul, goosebumps and all, thumbs up. She also has a tribute of Whitney's "I have nothing" that I would recommend not wearing socks.

I’m glad you made the jump to today’s Angelina, but understand that the middle years you haven’t heard yet will amaze you over and over and over again throughout different genres. Consider her version of A Million Years Ago for an expressive, emotional interpretation that grabs your soul, or watch her flip 180 degrees to cover James Brown’s It’s a Man’s World in a voice that you haven’t heard yet that will floor you. And there are twenty more I could suggest... Angelina is the best singer I’ve ever heard. Period.

Although discovering Angelina in chronological order is the way many fans discovered her, it is not "set in stone" and there are advantages in not doing so. The choice is yours, my friend and I'm sure there will be no dissent. The only criteria is that you continue to feature her on your channel on a regular basis : -) Angelina's performance on AGTTC certainly boosted interest in her.
