not to sound harsh but I’m so grateful (as is my wallet) that this is the first Sonia G release in a long time that I don’t Desperately Need Right Now This Very Second! That being said I am so glad you were sent these beautiful beautiful brushes Alicia, I love kakishibu-dyed bristles & your Sonia G videos are truly my favorite uploads on youtube, no exaggeration🤩🤩🫡🫡 The Smooth Blender looks enticing, it really really does… but I have to channel Spongebob: “I don’t need it.. I don’t need it..”

I'm in love with these brushes ❤💕😍🥰 the lotus flower pulls at my soul (I have several lotus tattoos) and koi fish are also so very special 👌 I had passed on a couple of her past special releases; they didn't call to me; along with the brush shapes and types of hair (squirrel) they weren't for me ... these however 😩 I died ! and my hooded eyes are also dancing for joy ! These are also brand new shapes that don't exist in her collection and I love the dyed goat ,,, I'm honored to own these and equally happy she sent these beauties your way Alicia ! ☺😘

Beautiful brushes! I keep telling myself that I don't need these, because I have so many of Sonia brushes. Now if that Bobo Silver fox brush would come in stock, it would win out over these, it was gorgeous. Will you be doing a video on Wayne's new synthetic brushes?

These look so beautiful. Thank you for your thoughtful analysis, as always. I agree these are collector's items... I was wondering how the small builder compares to Builder S rather than Builder M? I have small hooded eyes and was about to pounce on Builder S and Mini Booster until these babies came along :D

I think with these offering I'm set with the shapes I already own. I have Mini Booster, T3, and T4, which are similar to Crease Booster and Smooth Blender found here. Thank you for sharing!! This set really is well thought out and beautiful! 😊❤

This set is beautiful and you are magnificent and very talented in describing and showing the way we can use each brush.🙂 I have a lot of Sonia G brushes including the Make-E Holiday set. Also I have other brushes as well. All my friends are mesmerised when I tell how many brushes I have because they have 5-6 brushes and that’s it.😁 I am just a makeup enthusiast and definitely I have much more brushes than I actually need. I am not a collector and this thing with buying any new release is kind of very expensive addiction that has to stop.I live in Australia and on top of the price for each brush/set I bought is a GST and conversion in AU dollars which make the cost almost double. I am at the point it doesn’t make sense to spend a lot of money for something I don’t need and it’s just nice to have.That’s why I will skip this set and probably others in the future. But for people who don’t have fude brushes Sonia G brushes are beautiful and very good and I highly recommend them. 🙂 Thanks for sharing! 💕

They’re lovely brushes. If you are a makeup brushes addict I’ve heard that the Nikki LaRose brushes with BK beauty are one of the best. I’m saying that without ever using them. I’ve seen Jacklyn Hill rave about them. So take what I say with a grain of salt. Congratulations on receiving them. Hope you enjoy them always.

I'm surprise Sonia G is still around. I love the brush design, but other than that, everything's the same. She constantly puts out same 8-10 brushes despite her claim of owning 5000 brushes. She should have plenty of inspiration, but she doesn't. She's starting to come off as clownish and fraudulent.

I understand that brushes look alike if you are not looking close and not use them in the way they made for. But for example you have 10 pair shoes on a row. They all have a bottom front and they are made for your feet to wear. But you have 20 pairs I bet Why? They are all different and that is not because they have a different color. I hope you get what I am trying to tell . I mean it in a friendly way ! 😅 Ask Alicia she has a good opinion and tried them in all ways possible Bye Mirjam

Poor take- what you think is the same “8-10” brushes is clearly not the case. Everything from the bristle type, length, bristle length, density, shape, size, handle, other techniques used such as maki-e and kakishibu, and the wood used-all play a role in distinguishing Sonia’s collection. Therefore, everything is not the same. If it was, then her entire collection would look like her original set. But Sonia has managed to release a diverse number of brushes that take on their own personality. And you can recognize this from her blog posts, where she compares each and every new brush to her own previously released ones.

sorry but that's just NOT the case 🤷🏻‍♀😂 On the contrary I think what makes Sonia G in fact quite unique is the fact that she manages to out due herself and continually release unique brush shapes, sizes, different brush hair types/combinations and different brush handle types and therefore she's absolutely NOT the "run of the mill" when it comes to her brush releases ! This is how and why her brush releases in fact "fill in the gaps" within fude because they are ALL DIFFERENT and not the "same/same"! I understand that her brushes are far from affordable or attainable and that no one can argue with; HOWEVER to flat out LIE about her brand is laughable, unacceptable and frankly comes off as ill-informed and hateful ✌
