I'm so glad that Beautylish and Sonia worked to send you the brushes! I definitely love seeing your opinion and how you describe how brushes work, I feel like you bring so much detail and care into describing each brushes function and use. I'm also pretty weak to blue, so I can definitely see myself getting these, especially since I only have the Face One and her Pro Eye Set. Also now I won't be able to stop associating these brushes with Skyfall, which just makes me want these more 🤣

WOO-HOO, congrats on your well-deserved PR, Alicia! I always look forward to your brush reviews; your passion & enthusiasm truly shine through! Now I'm waiting for Michele & Mel's demos to come through😋. The blue handles really are exquisite; & since they ARE the 007 of brushes, I'd like to eventually pick up a few more of Sonia's brushes (I presently have her smallest fan, Sculpt 3). I just have to keep reminding myself, that I'm (not so patiently) waiting for my full set of Rephr brushes to arrive🥰. Once I see the shapes in person, I'll get a few of the single Sonia & Wayne, etc. brushes to fill in any gaps in usage/shape. I believe in spending on quality tools, as I still have & use brushes from 10+ yrs. ago. However, now that I've indulged in handcrafted, artisanal brushes, every other brush I use feels pokey & rough (esp. EYE brushes!)😜.
I ordered from the Kickstarter too & can't wait for my brush set to get here. I don't own any high quality face brushes & that's what I'm most excited about(& envious of this Sonia G set which would be perfect for me in size & shape)November seems like forever from now...

I was literally holding my breath, heart palpitating as I watched this video. All I know if because of your videos and your love for Sonia G brushes, I bought the Face Pro set and my makeup have never looked better. So now I'm getting the Sky set and my makeup will look even more better. I may go a few days without lunch, but I'll still be pretty...lol. I always feel so special when Alexis from Beautylish sends me a text to ask if I would like help preordering. Beautylish always makes it feel so personal, like it's not a mass text, know what I mean? I cant wait to receive mine!!!!!!! The description of these brushes was really intriguing to me. Brushes for people on the go with no time, when you dont have the time to sit down and do your makeup for 30 to 60 mins, blending and blowing out and whatnot, but you still want your makeup to look like you did that?!?! Yes please, sign me up Alexis!!!! Even though I do sit down and take the time on myself every morning (i cant help it, i just have to do that for myself!) brushes that do that ate ALWAYS going to be welcome!!!!!!!!
Yes, Amy YES! And Michele mentioned that in Sonia’s interview, she also wanted to design a starter set in a sense for the person who didn’t know where to start. I think she did a phenomenal job! Do keep me updated!!
So glad I saw your comment because I was thinking there must be something wrong with me that I spend at least 30 minutes to apply makeup but cough usually cough 60. Such a relief I'm not the only one. I find it meditative.

When I saw this notification for this video I got so excited and clicked so fast! My favorite color is blue (literally all shades of blue) and when I saw that Sonia G. was coming out with a blue brush set, I was ecstatic!

I have Wayne Goss' set though...both the synthetic and the face set and a few of Sonia's...I just dunno if I can pull the trigger because of the color of the handles and a few differences - but omg they look gorgeous.
You're such a blessing for doing these videos as thorough as they have been. Sonia and Beautylish are amazing for considering you for PR. I wish I used powder so I could buy them all 😂. Hopefully when these are sold individually (speaking this into existence because I know enough people will be interested) I can buy the classic cheek, and the worker fan to use with my creams and liquids. Ugh, Alicia, I was pretty much set that I didn't want this brush set, or that I'd wait until the individuals came out, but your absolutely thorough demonstration has convinced me otherwise! I'm going to have to really reflect on my existing collection to decide by tomorrow. Also, yet again, that foundation shade looks so spot on! It looked so natural even before you added the powder products during your demo :) ETA: I also really agree with you about natural hair bristles. All the brushes I own in my relatively small collection are well crafted natural hair brushes (2 RMK, 1 Wayne Goss, 3 Sonia G, and 2 Hakuhodo). The application and finish I get when using these brushes is SO natural (no pun intended), but I never over apply product anymore nor have trouble picking up hard pressed products. They've made putting on makeup both fun and easy for me

It's so funny, I was on Sonia G's website reading her blog on the brushes today and I thought to myself that I hope Kinkysweat gets these in PR to review and imagine my excitement when I logged on here and I saw your thumbnail!! I love how detail your review is. I totally didn't see the text message from Beautylish till it was too late to preorder but I've set my reminder on my phone to be ready to purchase when they launch. I might have to pull over on the side of road again like I did last time to order the face pro as launch time will be right smack in the middle of doing my patient visits lol. Love that you have washed the brushes first!! no one else has done this. I have all of Sonia's brushes and I ensure that I wash them before use purely because the shape is so much better and allows more air in the bristles. LOVE YOUR WORK!

Omgggg the combo all together. It's so youthful and feminine and springy even though it's not spring. I'm happy that you mentioned how they get the hairs in Japan. I was not aware that it was so humane! I may consider buying like two of these brushes when I get my first big girl check (July 2020 lol).
I got the Zoeva pro extensive brush set when I started doing makeup again. And also have the full pro set of Sonia G. And let me tell you as a MUA I can tell the difference. If I’m ever in a major hurry or got in trouble where something is looking bad and hard to blend, in pop out my Sonia G brushes and they save the day! They are amazing!!!

Susan P yeah and I had to order in 2 seperate orders because Beautylish can’t send more than $700usd worth of stuff in one go! Lol so I went in! But I’ve been saving for months to get the whole collection! I’m such a brush collector! I’m going to have to do a brush declutter to make room lol! Lol it better stay permanent! I have to save again for this set 😂 I was salty as heck that I couldn’t get the original discontinued brushes lol

I do have most of her collection, but I bought them over time, so I never encountered the 700 dollar rule. I didn't know they had one! I definitely admire the discipline it took to save up to get the whole set at once though. I'm such an instant gratification sort of person that I grabbed brushes one at a time if I had to until I had them all.
