I loved these so much, I bought another set! Oh, Alicia, when I tell you that after 2 washes, that bigger brush blooms???? IT BLOOMS! It becomes even softer, even more flexible, even more beautiful. You can totally swirl and twirl with these. I bought this set initially for that smaller brush, but the bigger brush is also blowing me away. Honestly, I could simply do with these two brushes for my entire face pigment products. These are that amazing. Sonia noted that since these are LE, she doesn't anticipate bringing these back. But she's also said that before about the Lotus set as well. So, who knows? I do know that I happily own two sets, and will wash them and love them forever. I need to hold back because I know she said she is coming out with a new Keyaki set this summer (I think it's an eye set?), and she has other brushes coming up as well. I didn't buy the Niji because it just seemed too big and too stiff. I'm so glad I can now happily skip the Niji, as this larger brush fits my needs far better. I used the bigger one for Bare minerals powder foundation. I loved the light buildable application. I used the little one for blush. I'm older and have a round face so I wear blush higher and farther back on the cheek to avoid looking like a cherub. I have also tried the larger brush with CT powder bronzer and it looked beautiful. I am so glad I splurged on these. 🥰
Something about the design of this duo grabbed my attention and I’m so glad I purchased them. The smaller angled one is now a new favorite for blush. I’d add that the hinoki wood feels lightweight, simply as an FYI for anyone expecting heft or weight (which sometimes equates to “more luxurious” in makeup packaging). You know you’re on the enthusiast side when you leave the plastic wrapping on the handles to protect them from wear 🙋🏻♀️
That’s true! And I also thought the wood to be exceptional, even lightweight. Incredible that this same wood is used to construct temples. Mind blowing! I should’ve kept my wrapping! I definitely have to be extra careful when handling them.

Really?! I’m always worried about natural hair being scratchy. Even some of the highest quality because my skin is very sensitive. For example I don’t like her large fan brush with the red handle.
Great video Alicia. So thorough. Thanks as always. Your comments on the crane made me remember times when I made cranes from the origami paper folding..still make them off and on. They're lovely as gift decorations or even on a Christmas tree. decorations. Nothing to do with the Sonja G brushes however...

We have Sandhill cranes where I live and I just love them. I call them dinosaurs. They will just hang out in the yard... until Champ and/or Daisy chase them away 🤭
@@aliciaarcher They are huge! I'm not a bird person but these are like 4ft tall and prehistoric looking. When they take flight 10 ft from you it's amazing.
Alicia, would you say these are softer than her original line (with the red handles)? That large first fan brush was a bit scratchy for me. These look very silky!
Hi Alicia first of all I LOVE your Channel, your vibe and your personality! Between this hinoki brush the big one and the face pro wich one do you recommend more for bronzer! I ordered both sets the Face Pro set and the hinoki one and they are on the way, but I want a back up of one of both! What do you think? ❤️😅🙏🏼🤞🏼
Hi Alexandra! Thank you for kind words! Ooooo that’s a tough one! Since the Hinoki set is limited, then I would grab that one. BUT, Face Pro is beyond perfect for bronzer. It leaves behind that classic “big 3” shape on the face, and could also be used for powder application!

I have had this set since it’s release and the bigger brush still sheds incessantly. It’s so crazy - more than a year later I’m afraid it’ll eventually just be nothing.
I was cringing as I clicked "add to cart" cause these are so expensive, but I don't regret. The bigger one is my perfect blush brush. They just diffuse powders so amazingly.
