do you think there is an argument to be made for the trackspacer algorithm performing better in different contexts besides carving out low end for 808s? any experiences?
Well, for carving out low end on 808’s, soothe actually works better, more transparent and quicker. Recently, I only use trackspacer when I need more dramatic sidechaining that requires longer release times like edm style sidechaining. Trackspacer also works well for ducking vocals out of reverb sends.
