Sonic 2 CD Remix is a hack with the goal of including various characters and gameplay elements from Sonic CD, whilest "Remixing" these gameplay elements by tweaking and adding extra elements to them. It's most prominent feature is implementing Time Travel into the Sonic 2 zones, but it has since extended well beyond it's original goal, adding new gameplay elements, 3 extra characters, new abilities, a host of options, 2 bosses, and more! This build is a demo with 4 playable zones, and all the options that have been created thus far. Made by Pacca. Fun fact: the Nick Arcade Prototype (yes it's a real prototype) was the EARLIEST prototype of Sonic 2! The Simon Wai Prototype, is a much more complete Sonic 2 prototype, and I think Emerald Hill Zone's background was borrowed from the early versions of Sonic 2's title screen, there were 2 types of unused title screens, look at some videos about Sonic 2's unused content to see what it looks like. I think Sonic 2 Lost Bits (prototypes, part 1) has a part where you can see how the unused title screens look.

Donutzz Chrunzz that’s how he spindashs in sonic cd. They didn’t have sprites for sonic spindashing back then so it made the spin dash weaker

I just thought about this, but if someone makes a Sonic 1 CD remix and puts it with that one together along with the Sonic Classic Heroes, then we could get a full Sonic Classic CD Heroes (it'd be even better if someone made a Sonic 3 & Knuckles CD remix and puts it into the combination too. What's the difference between good and bad future and how to get one of those?

In the original game, when you go to the past, you'll see two things to get smashed. First, there's a capsule thingy which affects the future if smashed or not. Smashed will make good future, not smashed will make it bad future. And at the end, if you smash it, it says "Sonic made a good future." The other one is a hologram machine of Metal Sonic which doesn't affect anything, i think.
