Sonic 2: CD Remix (Winter 2022 Prototype) ✪ Extended Gameplay (1080p/60fps) 

Sonic 2: CD Remix is a Rom Modification of Sonic The Hedgehog 2, created by Pacca & Various Others.

The goal of this Modified Rom includes various characters and gameplay elements from Sonic CD, whilst "Remixing" these gameplay elements by tweaking and adding extra elements to them. It's most prominent feature is implementing Time Travel into the Sonic 1 & 2 zones, but it has since extended well beyond it's original goal, adding new gameplay elements, 3 extra characters, new abilities, a host of options, and more!
The latest build being the Winter Prototype is fully unlocked & offered in 3 different versions; Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic CD. The showcase here only shows off specific Sonic 1 & 2 levels as Sonic CD looks to be a heavy work in progress with the stages involved.
Some notable changes include:
• More options in the menu (Load Level, Debug Mode, Level Select, Load Gamemode)
• Metal Sonic has a new intro cutscene!
• Special Stages are accessible now.
• Load Level/Gamemode options are debugging features.
