Fun fact in sonic 2: the reason why is eggman is faster then sonic before the death egg becuase he was tired of fighting that sliver copy of him and he was so tired he did not gain enough speed to catch him hoped this helped:) (also hi modern sonic:) )
If you spindash and jump against the ceiling (so you keep the momentum) eggman is still faster. And even if you use debug mode and put a red spring, you get nothing, the only reason this happens is because if sonic catched up to eggman there would be no final battle, so the developers made eggman always faster
@@Cloudtheblue you can stay in the fight area even after you defeat mecha, meaning that sonic can "rest", also where did you get that sonic is tired, after fighting mk II in sonic 3 he is not tired since he can still climb up the thing, and jump into the death egg, neither is he tired in sonic cd after fighting metal, which btw happens before sonic 2
Since this game, Sonic has fought multiple eldritch horrors and multi dimensional creatures. Eggman better hope to get a time travelling machine for these kinds of modifications.
I wanted include Tails at least in that zone to show that he is a bit useful. There are 2 different ways to beat the boss without dmg. Believe me i could do it even without Tails =)
I like how this Plan B of sorts mostly consists of just placing extra spikes in a hope that Sonic would be careless/thoughtless enough to accidentally run or spindash into them. There are a few extra things that make the mod that much harder, but I just wanted to point that out.
I Like What You Did For The “ Chemical Plant ” Boss, Including Those Blue Worm Looking Things. A Few Years Back, My Older Brother And I Played The Co-Op ( Not Versus ) Mode Of _Sonic 2._ He Was Sonic And I Was Tails, And He Absolutely Hated Those Blue Worm Looking Things.
I would have made the bosses harder than they are here by adding the following: 1st- faster projectile rate from the background 2nd- having ALL the platforms be the ones that can flip over (They'd alternate in sets of 2). Also would have a 3rd one of those jumping chemical bubble chains. 3rd- Boss moves faster and lets out double the projectiles from both arrows and getting hit. Also would let out 2 projectiles from the hammer when it comes down. 4th- Boss moves faster while letting out double the projectiles from the mines and with double the range on those projectiles (meaning you can get hit from across the screen if you don't pay attention). 5th- have 2 fireballs circle the boss at all times (slow enough to still have chances to hit him, but fast enough to need timing) 6th- have 2 (or maybe 3) spike sets on the ground. That's basically it. 7th- Everything moves faster at double speed. 8th- Boss flies off screen after each hit, the fakes that appear after each hit continue to fire until hitting the ground once, the fakes move twice as fast, the bottom of the boss generates spikes after all fakes are defeated so you can't attack it from the bottom. 9th- the platforms that move around move twice as fast 10th- Boss moves and attacks twice as fast 11th (final)- Boss moves towards you twice as fast with the stepping animations. Not much else can be added here or it'd get pretty unreasonable.
Gg! I think the real final boss there was Wing Fortress. I couldn't beat that no damage even on a normal run. The actual final boss strat looks a little bit easier then OG as the spikes don't really change the strat, but you also get an instashield.
Metropolis boss seems easier than in vanilla (the Insta-shield/Double spin attack makes it a cakewalk, and the changes don't impact the optimal strategy, aside from maybe one of the spike blocks getting in the way of the finishing blow) Edit: the Pingas got me
did anyone count how many hits each of these took, It's obvious most are higher than the normal eight ,I've not reached the egg robot yet when writing this, but I'd still like it confirmed
blacky gaming can you add skibidi toilet mod charcters sonic=plunger cameraman tails=dark speakerman and knuckles=brown coated cameraman but his eyes is red and has some guns on him
This is Sonic 2 absolute a normal ability in this game. To beat metropolis zone boss with no damage you need a lot of luck and tries, instashield makes it just easy and it is legit =)
