I wish S3&K had such a dedicated team behind it for an HD fangame. I mean, S2 has had the most copies sold, even though S3&K improves upon S2 in almost every way, so it would've been fair for it to get some love, too. BUT TO HECK WITH IT, THIS FANGAME IS FUCKING AMAZING AND IT'S MORE THAN ALL WE CAN ASK FOR, AN AWESOME CLEAN HD REMAKE OMFG

There was actually a Sonic & Kuckles HD remake but the same team that made this stopped working on it ,so they could continue working on Sonic 2HD I think. Edit: I just mispelled Knuckles but the new name made me lmfao so I'll let it stay like that

That was the direction Sega should take when trying to reintroduce classic gameplay with new titles. I'm not complaining about Sonic Mania's pixel art, it's wonderful, But I believe that HD graphics turn out to be much more lush.

@@dahianagrodriguez2936 yeah jaiz actually remade the game to have harder levels and better gameplay for the player i like how some sonic.exe fan games dont often use simple sonic world engines to make the game identical to original sonic games and if you look at jaiz koys channel he wrote a better story line about the STUPID ASS CREEPYPASTA and made it into something better jaiz koys games are really better and actually has a story INSTEAD OF IT BEING A JUMPSCARE FEST

I played this game when I was a kid. I don't see much comparison between the original and HD. Except from the music, changes in background scenes and the way sonic and tails pose at the end of the stages. Am I missing something here? Or is it just me? I have never played the HD myself. I've only just watched this video for the first time today. :) Thanks for the upload! Thumbs up! :)

Why? Why has this not happened? We’ve had many remakes and this would’ve been perfect. The music and everything is so excellent. Every little detail is so grand. I wish this was a thing. I’ve not seen it as a real released thing anyway. Or am I wrong?

Let me say this game in part Good: - Victory -Royale- Poses - New Running Animation - Unused Robotnik Sprite Used In HD - Acts Connected - Music Remixed - Act 2 Has Different Music - Sonic Mania Predicted in HD but its Sonic 2 Bad: - No Casino Night Zone - No Aquatic Ruin Zone - Regular Boss Defeat and Hit SFX - No Credits Remixed Not being mean, ok, I know it's a demo. Just CNZ and ARZ are part of everything before HTZ.

Hill Top was included because of the obvious reason most of it is a recoloured emerald hill. It’s also a *demo.*

The reason why they didnt use it is because it made his eyes ten times bigger they might have avoided this by using more Quality then just 16-Bit but because back then they couldnt do much higher quality so they just scrapped it as it was
