For me it was always Chemical Plant act 2. I still can’t find a pattern for the Eggman fight to this day, and I hate water levels in Sonic.

Sonic music is amazing, and I have a feeling you will be doing some more sonic music because of the announcement of the sonic games coming out. If you do end up doing more Sonic music I would love to hear some music from sonic 3. In particular I would love to hear Battery Zone Act 1 or Hydrocity Act 2.

I like some pieces of Sonic Music, but Mario Music seems to be better (for me) because it's more catchy and Memorable. Heck, Almost every gamer had heard the Overworld Theme from the Original at some point. But, I respect your opinion.

This zone definitely was madness. This zone also used a loop section trick where you end up at the top from the bottom. Look up soniczone0 and you can see maps of the full levels.

There was going to be an additional Zone, called "Genocide City". It got scrapped, but they had a fully finished Act from it. They didn't want to throw out what they had, so they swapped tilesets and made it part of Metropolis Zone.

Scrap Brain Zone. Also on a side note - Chemical Plant Zone was originally Death Egg Zone Act 1 & 2, but shuffled to stage 2 do to the lack of difficulty. You can still see they share assets in the final game.

How to generate dislikes to this masterpieces? Every single acapella song from "Smooth McGroove" sounds like absolute work. I heard so less little little mistakes in sooo much clips and these lil mistakes you can't hear as a amateur. So that is not the reason. Maybe you dislike a song but only to listen to this also nearly absolute voice blows much respect into yoursef, that you can't push the dislike button. I think that only trolls and haters dislike smth. like that. Or maybe they hate themselves and need to compensate. Finally I wanna say never stop doing this, you are a great master in what you do and you got my full repect in this.

I remembered this being one of my favorite levels to get to while playing Sonic 2. Now we need Aquatic Zone and Hilltop Zone buuuuut on a separate note, I'm still waiting for Zelda OoT Hyrule Field, as well as Twilight Princess Hyrule Field. Thanks Smooth!

I'll never forget playing this as a kid, finally getting to this zone!! BEATING ZONE 2!!! ..... realizing there was a Zone 3..... feels bad man (the music is indeed sick af tho)

Best Sonic game ever. When I was a kid I loved Sonic 1, and when I saw a single tiny screen shot of Sonic 2 in a magazine, I cut the page out and pinned it to my wall. My ACTUAL wall. 😂 Back then before RU-vid and the internet, we just thirsted for the tiniest bit of info on new things like this. It actually made things better. It was SO exciting. Today everything is just right out there, immediately in tire face, in full HD. There’s no mystery, anticipation, or excitement anymore for things.
