Semi dark sonic doesnt have all of its quills up. It's like Sa1 super sonic where most but not all goes up

It should of but tails didnt have the chaos emeralds... to trigger the dark form, Tails needs pure anger and sadness as well as the chaos emeralds to trigger it, so the makers of the show would’ve had to have Sonic and Shadow give the emeralds to tails... but even then, that would injure sonic and shadow because they would fall in space and revert to their normal forms. So I wish we saw dark Tails but we didn’t...

Its because dark sonic and dark tails are stronger than hyper but they cannot make a new one so they putted over hyper and super (why they didn't let super normal lol)
