funny enough this was my only way to listen to these remixes. I thought "gee I wonder if he has any extended versions?' and then I see this. Thank you I will listen to those as well o7
"Sonic Origins But I Fixed The Soundtrack" Alternate Title: "Sonic Origins But It's The Greatest Sonic Medley Ever Made" Amazing job on this medley, its amazing!
@@sylvery_ unfortunately Micheal Jackson's were the replacement. The themes in origins were the prototype themes. Regardless the prototype tracks still sucked
Things that Michael Jackson ruined: Buying The Beatles Catalog Acquiring A record company (I forgot the name of) which at the time was almost the entire music industry And Not properly licensing or finishing the Sonic 3 Soundtrack :/
I figured you meant how he specified that it was the Original Genesis tracks and not the reworked Carnival Night/Ice Cap/Launch Base we got in Origins. So it works even after the title change.
This absolutely BLEW MY MIND! Easily one of the best medlies I've heard. I want, no, NEED loopable versions of these. For scientific purposes, of course.
@@The_Shiny_One Not just that, but if you actually listen for and look into the composition of the songs in their entirety, the tracks are EXPERTLY made. Loads of talent went into this game's soundtrack. It's impressive how much nuance and realism they were able to squeeze into the songs in spite of it being a soundchip.
Dude this is insane. I was hooked the entire time. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do Sonic and Knuckles next! Flying Battery would go so hard. And Sandopolis Act 2 would be so stupidly heavy!!
Absolutely brilliant medley to Sonic 3. The way you captured the timing and pace of the original tracks while adding your own spices to them is just too good. Brilliant instrument playing all around as well. Quite possibly the best Sonic 3 remixes on RU-vid. Period.
if yall ever have a concert, you I NEED to see you play the boss themes and have Mike Pollock come on stage in full eggman costume let the crowd go nuts after hearing him say "I hate that hedgehog" or something.
It sounds just like it should, you are a very good musician and i think that we'd have lots of fun jamming together as i agree basicly with your every arrangement decision and cant find one thing to be able to complain about. You should feel good with yourself and you earned it bro.
Yeap, straight to my favorite vg music list You took what we all imagined as kiddos listening to this badass ost, and cranked it to 11 :) Holy sh*t this is amazing
Absolutely fricking amazing man. You stayed incredibly true to the original tracks, showing how much of a BANGER each one truly is. The spot-on sound choices on keys, shredding solos on guitar, rock solid drum beats and bass backing, and incredible level of multi-instrumentalism - I would give this video a million likes if I could. Hats off, dude. You made me appreciate this soundtrack all over again, and put me in complete awe of your talent. 1000% earned my sub.
The Robotnik cover gave me Won’t stop, Just go vibes and then how you nailed the Bug Arms theme with that slow start up and transition to the next verse was just so astonishing, thanks again for blessing my ears
great arrangements and mixes!! it's so nice to see someone paying homage and getting these songs up to speed contrary to Sega who just does the bare minimum to make a quick buck
So many of these rock covers focus solely on the guitars and make every track sound more or less the same. But you didn’t refrain from cutting out the guitars at times to better suit the original themes better, making the guitar more of a background instrument instead and fitting the theme of the levels much better. Bravo.
IceCap and Launch Base are EASILY the standouts here. They sound incredible, and IceCap remixes usually don’t sound very good to me, so you did this one REALLY well.
9:35 I still remember when you released your Sonic 3 & Knuckles Boss Remix Video about 5 years ago, man time flies quickly, its crazy to see how much you've improved from then to now, as well as it was great to hear you tackle the OST again because this turned out amazingly!, personal favourites of mine are Ice Cap, Launch Base and Big Arms, when the beat dropped in Big Arms it was awesome!, great stuff as always man, i always look forward to seeing what you put out next because it seems like you can never miss on your remixes and covers
SEGA has to see your work, hire you and pay you very well. This is what people wants. Also, you made a person really happy somewhere around the world :). I listen to your art every single day. THANKS and please keep it that way!!!!
Another one of yours that'll get plenty of replays. Most excellent work. Anyway, the prototype music in Origins low-key *officially* confirms that MJ and friends indeed composed music for Sonic 3.
This cover brought me tears of joy. Thank you so much for allowing me to relive my childhood with my Genesis and the absolute favorite game of all time.
You had mentioned it in the livestream and you certainly didn't disappoint! Amazing work as always Dean, couldn't stop smiling and jamming all the way!
Hi! I am from Brazil. Sonic 3 was part of my childhood. I played Sonic sequels, among others like Pinball, Mouse, Adventura, 2006, Generations, Forces... But none of them impressed me as much as Sonic 3 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles! Congratulations on your work, I've been following you for some time, but this last one is awesome!!
Whyyyyyy did youtube wait ONE YEAR after this was uploaded to recommend it to me. This is one of the best things I've seen on the Internet in a good while!
I listen to this at least once a week. You did amazing work my friend. This is gonna go down in history as one of the best Sonic remixes of all time. NAILED IT!!!! Be well my fellow blue brother!!!!!!! May God bless you and your family.
You look like you're having a darn good time. I would be too if my playing sounded like that. Big Arms (aka Doomsday Zone) is still my favourite, followed by Ice Cap. Absolutely awesome. I give you all the chaos emeralds.
Incredible from start to finish! Your arrangements are always such a great balance of keeping true to the originals while also bringing in the perfect new flavors to accentuate the personality of each track. The amount of work and all the different kinds of talents that go into a video like this is so impressive, bravo and thanks for sharing!

Gave it a like before it even ever uploads because not only did he have the cojonès to title it the way he did, I know for a FACT this man will deliver! LSE, you sir are a moden Legend! 🤙 Update: This man DELIVERED!!! Great job as always, Dean! Keep on rocking! 🤘
Hahaha oh man I was already enjoying every second of this - the attention to detail in every track is just insane - and then your spin on Ice Cap Zone (pun not intended) just made my day.
