It's pronounced "RO-HEAR-IM" They're the horsemen of Rohan. If you rewatch Return of the King you'll hear Theoden give the command "Muster the Rohirrim" in response to Aragorn annoucing that Gondor was calling for aide via the beacons.
The fact that jim carry retired from acting after sonic 2 and said if he came back it would have to be really important cause hes focusing on his family and grandkids and has never done a trilogy but he came back for sonic 3 is amazing
Playing multiple characters that play off each other was probably very appealing. He's played multiple characters in the same movie but to the best of my recollection they don't usually appear on screen at the same time. It might be something he wanted to do but never had the chance.
i think he did say that the only thing he would come back for is sonic 3 if it got made and the only reason for that is i believe one of his grandkids is a sonic fan
The fact they didn’t know how to pronounce Rohirrim like almost made me turn off the video. As a fan of LotR, I was really put off by their lack of knowledge or even an attempt to figure it out properly.
The anime about Rohan is the story of Helm Hammerhand, the Helm of Helm's Deep, and his daughter. It fills in the story of the Riders of the Mark. For Tolkien geeks, it is awesome.
@@ginosylum3d thirded a bunch of my fave reactiors bar these guys have done it though I have a feeling it's down to them not trusting WB to not strike the channel
Well, to answer somewhat the question about the War of the Rohorrim, I think the story is for Tolkien geeks. That is a pretty relevant moment in the history of Middle Earth so the people that'll watch it are the ones that wanna see that event come to life and I for one am hyped as all heck
I’m hyped too. Kinda weird reaction from the guys. It’s cool if they didn’t like it but their biggest complaint was that they couldn’t pronounce a relatively common LotR word. 🤨
As soon as I watched the sonic 3 trailer for the first time I thought “god I can’t wait to skip to the end of a previewed trailerpalooza to watch Jay and Adam’s reaction only for them to scald me for skipping so I end up going back to the beginning of the video and watching the whole thing”
Not a huge LotR nerd, but somehow I automatically knew how to pronounce it. Irr makes an "ear" sound, like mirror, irritated, irresponsible. Rohirrim = Ro-HEAR-im
Shadow’s finally entered the game!!! And having Keanu Reeves voice him is just the cherry on top of this 90s sundae. It’s like watching "The Matrix" if Neo traded his trench coat for some spiky hair and a talent for chaos. The trailer’s packed with more Easter eggs than a Cadbury factory, and seeing Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles team up is like the Avengers, but with more fur and fewer existential crises. Can’t wait to see it
I may have been watching sonic 3 reactions for too long yesterday and rewatched ur other sonic trailer reactions to tide me over and now theres a whole mini palooza , TIME TO GAME THE SYSTEM BAAABYY
I’m absolutely pumped for "War of the Rohirrim." A prequel, set 183 years before the original "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, that dives into the epic saga of Helm Hammerhand and his badass daughter Héra, who goes full-on warrior princess against the Dunlendings. I watched the trailer twice because, honestly, who can resist that kind of epicness? I can’t wait to see it in theaters!
I’m super excited to see "Saturday Night"! The cast was chosen perfectly oh my god. Plus, it drops just in time for SNL’s 50th anniversary, talk about perfect timing! I’m really looking forward to seeing how well they capture that iconic moment in TV history and the behind-the-scenes madness
they bring up where WB is now, but like, this movie was announced years ago, before the WB-Discovery merger, it's just finally releasing it. idk what they're yapping about tbh
War of the Rohorrim is set in the same continuity as the Jackson movies and uses that visual style, that's why they showed that sizzle reel before the trailer.
Ro-Hear-im. Also this looks like they are going to have Hera as the main character and not Helm himself. Not really a fan of that, but in this time of story-telling I am not surprised. Hopefully it at least does have his horn sound at Helm's Deep so it can do so later with Theoden ONE LAST TIME!
"I just kept staring at him thinking, this is the guy from the Beatles sketch!" - Tina Fey. i am SUPREMELY excited and ready for Saturday Night. i just hope it gets a blasted international release for the rest of us SNL fans; this deserves to be seen on a large ass screen [internationally]
"Secret Level" on Prime Video. It's like someone took the best parts of "Love, Death + Robots" and threw in every game that made me throw my controller. December 10 can't get here fast enough!
Jim Carrey didn't say he was retiring, just that he's being much more particular about his roles. He wants to do things that are different, not a rehash of his past work. And Robotnik is definitely something he loves doing. Gets to rile a bit of his 90's self without having to kick his own ass with physical comedy.
I'm so excited for Secret Level! If you get the chance I'd recommend watching the full announcement by Tim Miller (Deadpool 1 director) during Gamescom. He got so emotional, working on this for 3 years, from his passion and the visuals, it feels like there is a ton of love and work in this show.
Sowwy, I skipped... except for Saturday Night... to check out your reaction to Sonic 3. Oh, I almost forgot (kisses Jay on the cheek 😘). Toll has been paid. 😂
🔴 For those who don’t know: Eggman’s grandfather at the end, Gerald Robotnik, is the creator of Shadow and the grandfather of Maria, a friend of Shadow. In the games, when GUN (a military group lead by the Olive Garden guy in the movie) invaded the ARK, a gigantic space colony, to stop Project Shadow, the GUN soldiers LITERALLY SHOT Maria in front of Shadow and arrested Gerald. After witnessing his granddaughter’s death, Gerald went mad and created a revenge plan towards humanity before he was executed ON-SCREEN. And yes this actually happened in the games but seeing Gerald alive in the movie is going to be interesting
NGL came here for the Secret Level reaction and watching Jay’s facial expressions morph throughout it into pure wonder was everything. I’d absolutely watch your reactions to this, and I’m not even a gamer - my husband is.
I wish the War of the Rohirrim was about Helm Hammerhand, not his daughter. Hera wasn’t really mentioned much in the appendices, just that she was like… Helm’s moral compass. Wulf looks exactly like I thought he would.
What do you mean, who's War of the Rohirrim made for? It's for people like me who know that anime director has a good track record, and someone who loves the world of Arda that Tolkien created, someone who can't help but become emotional hearing the beautiful composition of Rohan's theme, someone who cannot wait to hear the Horn of Helm Hammerhand sound in the deep, One Last Time.
