Thank you you're the best and a very underrated RU-vidr that deserves more subscribers!!! I can't really think of anything else I would like to see from you atm, probably a mario game but I'll come back with a better suggestion
Has there been any update to this? Also I know you've posted the codes here before but it seems like you've also had a few extra codes pasted around randomly, do you have it all together in one bit?
Unfortunately, I hadn't done more since this video. I don't really have the time or ability to make a proper code that would let you play through the entire game without any problems. mega.nz/file/8wQSWCBI#F7Oryp0yUmJjc7gHscK9axyCONKNkQfTAkLT0wJUfu8 I think this was the only list I made, which has most of the codes listed in one place. If I recall, the warp codes used for Sonic and Shadow's teams can't be used at the same time.
There unfortunately isn't too much you can do to change things. First, can both of you run the game full speed offline in 2 player? The other factor is related to how fast your internet connection is. You can adjust the buffer in netplay, but that only can do so much if you don't have the best connection. My guess is that you or your friend can't run the game full speed, since this game can be cpu demanding, and unfortunately, there aren't many options in Dolphin that you can use to improve performance. Do other games work better for you online? Finally, I just want to mention that this gameplay is from a replay file. The netplay performance was good, but even if there was some lag, it wouldn't be in this video, because it isn't a live recording.
There is something for Steam if you look up "Two-Player Co-op Mod [Sonic Adventure 2] [Works In Progress]". I believe it is more limited than what I did on Gamecube, although it's not like there aren't still a bunch of problems on the Gamecube version either.
I used this code. @@ssslink8954 I really wouldn't know how to fix almost any problems caused by these codes. I can only say that whatever is seen in this video should work, which is using the standard characters for their own stage type. I also ran into problems that I wasn't able to fix by using an unintended character. If you check where I played Cannon's Core, you can see I made player 2 the same as player 1 for the Knuckles and Rouge areas. It just didn't work for me when I used a different character.
Although I possibly could if I played around with it more, I never came up with a normal way of finishing those stages. 0403c484 480001e0 28357f30 00000800 0403c484 60000000 e0000000 80008000 With this Gecko code, if you hold the Y button after getting the last hit on those bosses, the stage should end. Using the multiplayer code? I definitely would suggest using stage select rather than attempting to play through every single stage, just because there are problems with various areas. I did get through the stage you mentioned, but I might have needed to use some code like this to get through. 0403c27c 480001cc Assuming I used that code, it would have only been for that particular stage or stages like it, because I don't think it would be a good idea to use on regular stages.
@@sonicadventurefan4492 This video actually shows what happens if you try it. It's just that both characters are still controlled by the player 1 controller.
There is this, which works for Steam. github.com/Szar/SA2-Coop There are some things I did in this video which I don't think can currently be done on Steam.
www.mediafire.com/file/9v3gbufe8f0nz80/GSNE8P.ini/file I guess if you replace this with the file that has the same name in the GameSettings folder, you could get all the codes here, but it would probably be more simple to just copy and paste the codes. I'm not 100% sure everything is here, and remember I did post a little more information about the codes in the comments already.
@@Katsuragi210 If it's laggy, your computer might not be able to handle the game with 2 players. Have you compared it to regular multiplayer? To get Shadow to appear as player 2, hold dpad right as you load the stage, as long as you have that character select code turned on.
@@arronmunroe And when the game crash at tails vs eggman first battle, and when I open the game and load the game, eggman was corrupted and sonic just falls from the sky and when he lands, the game crash so I had to disable co op and fight eggman and then enable it

I'd really like to, but the problem is the only hacks that exist for it are multiple players with the standard single player camera. That game is just too fast moving so a second camera is needed for the second player, but I don't have the necessary skills to add a splitscreen feature.
This code was used for changing the second player. You would need to hold one of the buttons on the first controller as the stage is loading. I don't recall exactly which button was for which character, but I know L or R was for Tails or Eggman, dpad left or right was for Sonic or Shadow and dpad up or down was for Knuckles or Rouge. $character modify [Kirby is cool] 28357F60 00000001 003AD82f 00000000 E2000001 80008000 28357F60 00000002 003AD82f 00000001 E2000001 80008000 28357F60 00000004 003AD82f 00000004 E2000001 80008000 28357F60 00000008 003AD82f 00000005 E2000001 80008000 28357F60 00000020 003AD82f 00000006 E2000001 80008000 28357F60 00000040 003AD82f 00000007 E2000001 80008000

@@xmr_penguinx3561 I never tried running this on a real GC, but I likely wouldn't be able to fix things even if I did. I only know about running this on the emulator, where the splitscreen should work for the Eggman and Tails stages. I never made a warp code for Knuckles and Rouge, not that it would be difficult to do.
arronmunroe well I was trying to go through your code which seems to add the equipment to player one and in there somewhere is the splitscreen code for eggman and tails stages. What I was trying to do was shorten that code to just allow for two players which I know is the first two lines of the code but from knowledge of the pc port there is also an always splitscreen code as well and there must also be a game mode select in there because usually if you load 2 players into knuckles wild canyon the second player is able to use the wind lift which usually wouldn’t be possible if you just had 2 players load in
@@xmr_penguinx3561 Sorry, didn't realize you responded here. 05207248 60000000 I believe this line here makes it so the wind works for Wild Canyon player 2, but this code doesn't really work properly since, if I recall correctly, it will make the game stay paused at the beginning of Death Chamber. arronmunroe thanks for your reply I’ll test it out as soon as I can thanks again hopefully we can make the codes work for all levels and maybe optimise it a bit more
@@FlipeTheBased While it might possibly work on a real GC with an Action Replay, this was played on an emulator. There are RU-vid videos about using Action Replay and Gecko codes with Dolphin, if you want to know more about it.

No updates from before. It is technically possible to play through the entire game like in this video, but unfortunately, it's not 100% user friendly, since not every code works for every stage. I don't really think I could do much to improve this, though.

I'd like to do that, but the problem is there isn't a good way to play it yet. While multiplayer is possible, there is no splitscreen feature, and it's too difficult to keep the second player on the screen.
Where does it crash? There might be more, but I can only think of 2 places where it crashes. In Dry Lagoon, if player 2 goes in the water, and on both versions of Sand Ocean if the wrong player is used. That's why both players used Tails and Eggman on that stage. Other than that, I can't think of any crashes, although there could be something I'm forgetting.
