omg I just said this 😭 this a straight fact I still come back and listen to all their stage themes cuz they're all bops tho these songs aren't the same without the constant beeping of the master emerald tracker 😂 (tho I guess for Rouge it was keys wasn't it lol)
for anyone wanting more of this style, try Nicola Conte, George Duke, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Mo' Horizons, Azymuth, and - to a lesser extent - Thievery Corporation. Good luck, happy hunting, and keep it cool!
Thanks for the recommendations! Like someone else said though, I'm struggling to find out what genre niche in jazz this music with flutes and female singers is called.
@@wt_neptune54 i've always just called it spy jazz, cuz it's the same type of jazz that they put in spy movies most of the time. But that never helps with the search bar. @LvK138 's comment has been the best thing so far.
+Fang the sniper Tho i think the character of rouge is umm not suitable for kids even when i first played sonic adventure 2 in 2001 when i was 6 or 7 or 8
6:57 this level was THE MOST intense level in Sonic Adventure 2. And having Robotnik shout at you about how you're going to blow up (doesn't care about you, just the emeralds) was super stressful. "Damn it! Which safe has the emerald? WHICH SAFE?!" XD
For me it's one of the best levels in terms of showing that Treasure Hunting isn't about "slow pace the game", it's just as fast as Sonic levels, but it's not relied on linear hallways and dashpanels, it all depends on the player skills, quick thinking, where to go next. I wish all levels had some timer, so that all players would understand Treasure Hunting isn't as "slow" as they think.
I actually hated that level. My least favourite level in the game. Plus I forgot how to open a safe when I started playing the game again. (I did beat this level btw and breezed through Dark Story)
@@USLBSRU-vid more than Mad Space? At least Security Hall, despite having the shitty locked safe gimmick, wasnt nearly as awful as the terrible Mad Space and Its terrible Mario Galaxy mechanic that doesnt even work properly. Mad Space IS by Far the worst level in the entire game, im even counting the awful Route levels.
@@naoaquieopatrickpatrick8565 I gotta agree with you. But I found it quite easy. Sure it was time consuming and the planet logic almost made me lose my sanity. The only reason why I don’t like Security Hall is because you are given a timer. Me and timers don’t work well together. I’m glad Security Hall was the only treasure hunting stage that had a timer and not any of the other ones. Otherwise I’d throw my PS3 out the freaking window! I mean I will agree with Mad Space being the worst level in SA2…
The style is very close to Jazzhouse. Similiar artists Seikou Nagaoka (especially Speed of Love) DJ Kawasaki Studio Apartment MAKAI should hit the spot for most of you.
OMGdness!!! Thank you so much for sharing this. I remember playing this and totally getting lost in her theme music. She had the BEST soundtrack in the game.
I love Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I played this game so much as a child. I beat the game, than replayed it multiple times over throughout the years. Some levels I would get stuck in them. And I'd roam around randomly at times just to listen to the music in it. I miss the times that they had the Chao Garden in Sonic The Hedgehog games. They need to bring it back. I miss modern classic Sonic The Hedgehog games like these ones. They are apart of my childhood. And I miss them so much. Good times these are.
@@ismaelsaenz3914 That's Kool. I still like how I can go to a store that has grabber machines. Or an arcade. And get a Sonic Plushie of any of the characters.
Never played bayonetta, but yeah definitely persona 5. I picture them all effortlessly escaping a palace with grace while the security scrambles with anxiety
@@bugburger_ yeah surely Maysa, Shakatak, Incognito, T-square and Dimension did not exist before P5. Those are banger Jazz artists btw 10/10 would recommend
When you're a kid playing this, you don't really realize it, but these tracks so well-crafted. Such a variety of instruments, catchy melodies, many little fills and details sprinkled about, and the mix sounds great! These would be incredible to hear live.
Every time I listen to these songs, it always made me want to do a Casino Hotel style movie with Cocktails and intrigue. I love her stages so much. Mad Space though, the first time I played, I spent over 90 minutes on the stage. -_-
Bright Sound reminds me of a place I went to in my childhood, and I can't quite remember. A tanning or nail salon? A spa? Wherever it was, they played music over the speakers like this there, and I remember loving it.
I didn't care much for her music as a kid, but now as an adult I think she has the best level themes in the game. Those chord progressions are tasty as hell and very well thought out.
I love her stages cause they were more fun to play and listen to, Sometimes I would just let the music play. Her songs were composed by Tabetha Fair and Shaows songs were composed by Everett Bradley.
Ah how I miss these tracks so much Rouge has the best music in the game fits her so well. But than again all the music in Sonic Adventure 2 is an banger 😎✨✨✨✨
I really wish Rouge can come back as a playable character in any Adventure style games they might make in the future. Her design is obviously beloved by fans, and her musical style of sultry jazz compliments the sountrack so well. It would be a big mistake to ditch her in future games or tone down the things that make her appealing in the first place.
@yamirvaldez5575: I have a strange feeling that the songs are sometimes reminds me of the Persona 5 series, and Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS. Keisatsu Sentai Patranger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can quarantee that there is better art to put in this video on the internet that is fair use. Not even the lewd kind, just generally cool concept art
