Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - All-Star Moves (Complete Collection) 

i miss when all star moves were unique and not just characters turning into their plane forms and shooting some kind of projectile or shockwave and the announcer just saying they've gone all star instead of eggman pressing his red button.

The reason why the all-star moves got heavily nerfed in this game is because in the original game, most all-stars could easily send you back to first place, making it easy to cheese your all-stars.

Transformed is definitely the better game, but what made the first game stick out for me was its personality, specifically with the announcer and unique all-star moves. I almost like it more because of that.

It feels like the only unique ones are NiGHTS, Reala, and Gum. NiGHTS and Reala’s All-Stars basically let you control them in their normal humanoid forms, while Gum’s takes inspiration from DJ Professor K’s description of her, leaving a trail of broken hearts wherever she goes. Everyone else’s is either a get-off-me burst or a projectile attack.

I love this game and I have a few favorite sega characters: 1:09, 1:28, 2:04, 2:26, 2:43, 3:04, 3:22, 3:41, 4:02, 4:17, 4:36, 4:57, 5:14, 5:33, 5:51, 6:08, 6:24, 6:43, 6:59, 8:46, and 9:03.

Bitches complain about the All stars being lamer without taking into account that the previous games were woefully unbalanced and couldn't be played in online mode. Plus the Tracks in this are FAR superior to the first game's because they each represented different games as opposed to the 3 tracks per world (most of which was Sonic).

Also surprised Silver, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Mighty, rouge, chaos, Jet the hawk, Toejam and Earl, Ristar, Pepper, Bug!, Centurion, Neff, death adder, Axel from streets of rage, Vectorman, kazuma, keil, pulseman , bayonetta, Alis Landale, Arle, Wild Woody, ecco, seaman, mr.bones, wonderboy, flicky, kid chameleon, michael hardy, segata, Sakura,Wein, JJ, Pengo, psycho fox, Earthworm Jim, Bad Mr. Frosty, and Boogerman didn't get in.

This cast sucks so much, doesn't matter how good the game can be... it's disappointing. Seriously SEGA, you need to try at least to surprising us, .. with Sketch from Comix Zone, or.. I dunno, Echo? (How awesome would be a Dolphin driving a car?)

It’d be way better if the two games “combined,” such as having all characters from both games in one big game, as well as the old announcer and all stars. Also more tracks for each franchise, and more remixed songs for these tracks. Also, have certain characters from both games use bikes like in the last one.

While Transformed did add some neat additions, the removal of the Narrator actually *being* a narrator and the fact each All-star move is either, projectile spam or an AOE attack in the Plane form (minus NiGHTS and Reala who take their original form) is really saddening. But considering *Danica Patrick* of all people was added to the base roster and the fact there are sections where traveling through the sky or on water would've looked weird with specific characters outside of their vehicles, they probably needed to compromise and settled for making the All-star moves basic attacks that could be reskined to match a specific character. Which fun fact, in the 3DS version neither NiGHTS nor Reala go into their original forms. Most likely for both hardware reasons and to keep a steady framerate as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed was released *before* the NEW 3DS was even a thing. Also, Miis work differently between versions. In the Wii U version, you can't select which Mii you'd like to use but the Super Zoomer will change color according your Mii's favorite color. In the 3DS version the Super Zoomer's default color is red (which matches the 3DS' logo fittingly enough), but you can select from the list of Miis (including Guest Miis) that are on your 3DS. One last note related to Miis, the Swords and Shields seen in the All-star Move for Miis aren't just a random choice by the developers, it actually references Find Mii/Streetpass Quest, one of two default games available in Streetpass Mii Plaza.
