@@TOXTHEWOLVERINE The comics were not produced by the Sonic Team so they count as non-canon so actually when u think about it,Amy or any other canon Sonic character produced by the Sonic Team that were in the Archie Comics never actually met Sally or the other fanmade characters and what not that were in those comics.

She did and I think that was stupid of her to do in the comics and she called Sonic selfish for that when she was really being selfish just because he wanted to risk his life and save the world like he always does.She also wanted to change Sonic in order to be with her.That's another reason why I don't like Sonally because it just doesn't make sense to me and I guarantee u that it was a forced relationship in the comics because Sonic is free spirited and he is not the type of guy to settle down and get married like Archie Sonic(I hate that they made him more romantic in the comics just for him to be hooked up with Sally when Sonic is not really interested in romance but he really does have feelings for Amy)but thank goodness the comics are not canon.I prefer Sonamy because Amy is free spirited like Sonic and also Sonamy happened a year before Sally was made actually,because in 1992 Amy was made by Sega workers as Eimi The Hedgehog and Sonic's name was Nicky and they were dating,while Sally was made on the 11th of December in 1993 by DIC entertainment before Sonic CD(which had Amy's new design when they named her Rosy The Rascal),this led many Sonic fans to believe that Sally came first before Amy did when she really didn't. And also,Sega gives us many hints in some games or the two TV shows Sonic X and Sonic Boom and even the IDW comics that Sonic has feelings for Amy but he's just too shy to admit it.Sega also confirmed that although Sonic never officially had a love interest,it has been hinted from time to time that he secretly loves Amy,so basically Sega was pointing out that he's just very very shy to confess his feelings to her. Sally slapped Sonic because he wanted to save the world and she was complaining about him risking his life to save the world instead of being with her,so that was stupid of her to do actually. We know that Sonic is free spirited and always risks his life to help save the world.

@@alyssathecat4223 Oh hoho of course you would say that because you weren't place in that position Put yourself in her shoes during that time Archie comics are literal origins on how things came to be in the games Team sonic only wanted sonic to focus more on adventure than deep story arcs Either I'm sticking by what I see and place what occurred between,before, or after the events of the Sonic franchise by plugging the comics where it makes sense
@@TOXTHEWOLVERINE I wouldn't slap someone but I respect ur opinion if u want Sally and the Freedom Fighters into the games but SEGA has stated that SatAM or the Archie Comics doesn't have anything to do with the games,so no matter what u do to try and persuade them,they will say no because they have said it many times before and will not add those non-canon characters and what not into the IDW comics,they don't need them they got tired of people wanting the non-canon characters to become canon and be put into the new sonic projects only to steal the canon characters spotlight,therefore they started on a fresh start with the IDW comics,so I know u think that the characters in the Archie Comics or SatAM will appear in the games but they won't 😂😂😂
