As a side note for the Black Knight, it's a part of what's called the Fairy Tale series cause this is basically the Lancelot tale, but with Sonic characters. If you guys wanna see the one that started this, it's called Sonic and the Secret Rings and it follows the tale of the Arabian Nights. Its another fun watch. ^~^

I can’t get over how you genuinely had a file labeled “sonic generations” and it was the black knight. That made it better. I’m so excited to see more. I also only got into sonic within the last few years because I just didn’t have the games growing up but damn I missed how good these characters are. I’m glad to learn about it now! Sonic lore goes so hard. It’s so anime. Watching your reactions has been really nice as a new fan too! I want you to see Blaze and Silver be introduced but also heads up there is a wild scene at the end of 06 for plot convenience. I definitely watched game grumps play this game too much because I associate so many of these scenes with Arin’s breakdowns

This game is the PUREST form of Sonic's personality and I'm glad y'all watched it. The story was Written by the much beloved Shiro Maekawa. Who also wrote Sonic Adventure 2

I really like how the video contains gameplay segments instead of it just being a cutscene video. The gameplay is where a lot of the personality with Sonic lies.

Percival is actually the counterpart of another character named Blaze the cat, but her main game is actually a spinoff series, she also appears in Sonic 06 (via the plot in her actual game being retconned) so if you guys watch 06 you’ll meet her

And after all of these i recommend watching a youtube video about sonic's timeline. (optional ) And at last , watch sonic x shadow generations : dark beginnings before playing that game . If you want to check out more Sonic stuff check out Sonic Adventure 1, The Sonic Riders series, Sonic Rush as it explains Blazes backstory and origin, Sonic Heroes, Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic ‘06 some of that was used in The Knuckles Show (but disappointedly in name only) and Sonic And The Secret Rings which came before this one. These games are some of the more story heavy games but for warning Sonic 06 has a pretty convoluted, nonsensical and undercooked story but if you want to know more about characters like Silver The Hedgehog that’s sadly where you need to go.

Thank you so much for giving this game a chance! Glad you enjoyed it. The gameplay is pretty bad, but the story is still one of the best in the series. This is Sonic at his purest and does a fantastic job of showcasing his ideology. While this game wasn't received very well when it came out, it still holds a special place in my heart.

Everything in sonic media except for the comics or at least some sonic prime and sonic boom are the only things non-Canon but everything else is what the developer say but the story books are canon

By the way, the reason the Knight 1v1 fights looked like that was (in part) because there was a local PVP mode

It's not my favourite, but even so, the idea of Sonic and co in the time of Arthurian myth is just too cool an idea for me to not smile at it :)
