Man Abraham Is THE TRUTH!! He is the Epitome of what a Head Drum Major should be. The J-Settes looked so cute and the band sounded amazing throughout the entire parade. The crowd's reaction to, "Get Ready" never gets old and, "Before I Let You Go" sounded especially good.
I liked the j-settes uniform. Simple yet sophisticated. Before I let go, Santa Claus come straight to the ghetto, and All I want for Christmas sound good.
JUST AS SOON AS I SEE THE J5 STEPPING AND HEAR THE BAND PLAYING GET READY, I KNOW ITS GOING TO BE A GREAT PERFORMANCE BY THE SONIC BOOM OF THE SOUTH!!!!👏👏👏👏👏

Don’t matter if it’s in a gym, field, stands, or parade. The Boom cranks up. I love how the city of Jackson can come out at night and have a parade and you know JSU is the star with the police escort and the crowd got hype when they heard “Get Ready” P.s. I think they went stands mode in the tunnel with that “Before I Let Go” with all that power
Outstanding....best band I have ever seen in my life....the sound is amazing, and the J-settes are the sparkle and sophistication.....just, WOW!!! PLEASE come on up to Pittsburgh PA and play.....we got so many tunnels up here...you'd rock our city to the bones, and show U of Pitt band how its all done.
Thank You! Our newly appointed Head Coach played at Pitt and is a Pitt grad, so you never know if a football game including the Band might happen some day!

Get it JSU!! To play Santa Claus Go Straight To The Ghetto (my favorite Christmas song) in a parade you get ALL props!!! I went to a different HBCU and played in the band, but I must say I am loving Sonic Bomb!!!
The Captain sure gets thick over the course of these videos..lol..She looks fantastic, has a wonderful Spirit and Innergy.. JSU for life! Jacktown will always be my second home!
I am an alumni of Prairie View A&M and we have a great band but I just have to give it to the Boom, they have their own rich sound and their compositions are so right on - i.e. Frankie Beverly and Maze
Ms. KG & the J- settes looking good, as well the whole Sonic Boom of the South marching band, they're is off the chain! I wish i was there to witness that Wonderful Christmas parade, JSU is most definitely one of my favorite top 5 HBCU marching bands!✌👍👏
Is it me or is it just automatic that a Jsette captain gets to look prettier during a parade. I don't know how far back this goes, but Morgan (2017) was the first one that I noticed and now Kayla just... just looks incredible. The whole squad looks incredible. Man, this don't make no sense lol Looked at the video a few more times...it's the blue right? It's gotta be the blue lol Morgan in the MLK parade and now this - thank you for the footage. Much appreciated
This marching band is sick! And, I don't know who the lead of the dancers is....but she is fiyah and fine! She is not slacking on the moves and got that squad in check!

Why does JSU march with there tubas on the side. It seems to me that the tubas are blocking a lot of sound from the other horns especially from an angle point of view. Good Job anyway JSU. Merry Christmas🎄

I don't think that's him. I follow him on Instagram and he posted on the last day he marched with them. He's back in Detroit now I think. I can tell the difference in the high stepping
Que The Essential Esthetician Does Dallas I'm in the band. That's him lol they don't usually march as hard for the parades. Abe is graduating soon though, this is his final season.
