You'll still get the good ending. Nothing extra happens by doing both.

Doing both also gets the bonus ending.

I did that, actually, on my letsplay

If you get all time stones, all generators will be automatically destroyed

Destroy every robot generator in the past or collect the time stones

You have to make a Good Future in every single Zone, this can be done by either having all Time Stones, or going to the past of every single Act, and destroying the RobotTeleporters. However, if you don't get all Time Stones and instead destroy all the Teleporters, you also have to destroy all the Metal Sonic Holograms (Also in the Past), wich makes getting a Good Ending a pain in the ass, since the Special Stages are really hard, and finding all Teleporters AND Holograms is also really hard if you don't use a guide. Also, keep in mind you have to do all of this with Sonic, Tails seems to disqualify everything (At least from my experience, but i'm not 100% sure, so you probably wanna check the Wiki for that one). Been playing this game for over 2 years, at least 50 different Saves because you can't visit past Levels on a finished Save, wich is literally the one thing that makes this so annoying, and i'm still on that grind. Good on you if you don't have much problem with the Special Stages, and also keep in mind that getting all Times Stones is futile if you don't destroy at least the Teleporters up until the point you have all of them. Basically, getting all Time Stones makes every Zone from that point onward, so let's say you get a Time Stone every Act, from the 1st Act of the game, Palmtree Panic Act 1, so you get all Stones after finishing 4-1, from 4-2 onward, all Zones are automatically Good Futures. So 4-1 will not automatically be a Good Future, and if you didn't destroy all the Teleportes from 1-1 to 4-1, you'll get a Bad Ending. Good Luck, hope i was able to help.

This version (mobile) reduced the charge time needed to successfully pull the dash off.

You're not doing anything wrong. It's a known glitch on the PS3 version. Sometimes after collecting all time-stones you'll get the bad future aesthetic in Wacky Workbench Zone 3 or Stardust Speedway Zone 3 or Metallic Madness Zone 3 instead of the good future aesthetic. However, at the end of those acts it still says "SONIC Made A Good Future In Zone 3". So those acts still had the good future, it just shows the bad future by mistake due to a glitch. You still get the good ending when you beat the game because you got all time stones.

Hey,I just figured out what I do! Destroy all the robot transporters and Metal Sonic hologram projectors and collect a Time Stone in Zone 1 of each Round and collect the final Stone in Zone 2 of Metallic Madness. You can also get a hug from Amy,collect 200 rings,find the lost statue in Zone 1 of Wacky Workbench in the Past,take the high road to reach the goal of Collision Chaos in Zone 2 and defeat Metal Sonic without getting hurt in one playthrough if you're restart at the right moment if you want a do-over.
