He would have needed chaos emeralds for that, something he maybe didn't have a chance to get considering sonic was gone. Maybe it has something to do with how the chaos emeralds have gone dark? Maybe that's why building another one was impossible.

@@neivtrodiguez9305 well were do you keep rings the size of your hands he weres it like a bracelet until he runs out of arm space were he then puts in increasing improbable locations then he just carries them Which is why he drops them all when he stubs his toe

He has a super fast metabolism due to him running, so at the end of the zone when the rings are being counted, that’s just the rings being eaten, turning into energy, or rather, for you, “score”. This explains why Sonic needs 50 rings to go through a special stage/go super, he needs the energy to do so.

It would be so sad if this doesn't get a continuation tbh

The creator said to stay rad, there's a chance they could come back, although the probability is extremely low.

Since the portal sent him to the future, maybe him going through the portal caused the timeline to be screwed? it’s like doing something in the past and messing up the future, something like that could have happened here What I see is: 1) Sonic goes through the portal 2) Him going through the portal probably means he’ll be gone forever unless he finds a way to get back through 3) He goes missing lol 4) 20 years pass 5) Sonic ends up in the future, and it sort of makes sense why everyone would be like “holy shit” Unless that’s already what youre saying then this response is kind of pointless This response is super late anyways considering the comment and video was made 2 years ago hhaha

Uh not quite. Sonic and tails were testing an invention and eggman showed for the chaos emerald that was powering it and fried the machine. It wouldn't shut down without _someone_ going through. So on Sonic's way down he yoinked the chaos emerald and fell into that lookalike of silver's time.
