Sonic Classic (Fan Game) [Longplay] 

Ahhhh, the Sonic Mania prototype.

The level design is really cool, but man, the special stages need to be spaced out. Sonic 3 had a bunch of special stage entrances in its levels, but this feels a little to "GO! Now stop and do the special stage. OKAY GO AGAIN! Okay, now another special stage." I guess that's up to player choice though if they go in or not, so

I like the idea of combining old bosses with new ones!

This is everything I ever wanted from a Sonic fangame.

Really like the Sonic, Tails, and Silver Sonic sprites. I like how Sonic is a mix of the Sonic 1 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles sprites, Tails looks adorable, and the way Silver Sonic looks is really accurate in my opinion and how he might look up close.

Why the chaos emeralds are time stone textures

I was able to get all the emeralds in the first 2 zones

Whoever made this fan game has DEFINITELY played Sonic Chaos. Five of the Special Stages in this game are modeled after the ones from Sonic Chaos.

I like the advance theme of hazel hills and also that boss remix is amazing

This game was super underated for many years! FINALLY IT'S GETTING WHAT IT DESERVES!

This speical stage music IS just a jam the beats just makes me want to see a 1 hour verison of the song

It's sort of a mix of the sms and regular versions of Sonic but in its own way. Very Impressed

I have a idea for a sonic fangame so the levels are: Green hill great forest Robotropolis doomsday Robotic road way sky probe destroyed green hill SCRAPED brain zone robotniks fortress and the last level is Planet robouis and the bosses are: Mecha eggman which is a robot eggman and the other one is destroyer Mecha swat-bot Eggmech Tails doll Metal knuckles Palmbot hyper mecha sonic Metal sonic & Mecha sonic & Clone sonic A.K.A faker and the last bot its mecha eggbot 6000 which is a long & hard & Screen switching boss fight and you need to collect the 7 chaos emeralds the time stones the deep power stones and lastly A one by me Ultra emeralds in the good ending eggman is jumping in rage but something under the metal scraps which is shaking looks like theres a new mobian in town! The rest of the good ending is with all the artifacts they restored green hill back to normal the bad ending is Eggman still has the artifacts that he uses them to destroy and kill all mobians

wow im impressed this fan game is almost as long as reagular sonic games and by almost i mean off by one hour and a few minutes from sonic forces

Some more mastering and it could be at the same level as Sonic BTS/ATS, oh and better music

Looks like it could use a remake with a new physics engine but looks promising enough.

The bad ending of sonic VS Volt is Eggman finds the D.P stones and time stones and chaos emeralds and Super stones and he uses them to bring Volt back to life and volt uses all Stones & emeralds and he finds sonic and defeats sonic

So sonic VS robotnik 2 is Sonic VS Volt the levels are: Emerald hill Drill base Jungle cove Egg base Angler Ocean Oil Plant Scorched hill hill bottom Ocean fortress aquatic temple hidden fortress and the last one is chaos fortress so the bosses are Hill bot Grounder 2.0 Ivy bot Eggmech 2.0 Metal Advanced Fish bot 8000 Oil Mech Scorch bot 9000 Mecha drill bot Aqua bot Stealth bot and the last boss is Volt the hedgehog So To get good ending In emerald hill you have to find a bush shaking and inside is Volt so if you defeat volt and go to the last level and go to the last boss the last boss will be Metal Volt so the end of the good ending Again eggman is Raging while floating in space with space suit somereason Theres a Feather of sonic but it has a red energy on it so the new one is actually faker

You can definitely tell it’s a fan game, but the textures and atmosphere are promising. There are a few glaring bugs, such as some textures flashing when in certain spots, and the screen jittering when super sonic hits an obstacle, but overall I’d just like to know more about this game.

The other ideas for my fangame is when you start a new game it shows a cutscene where its Sonic & tails eating chilidogs but then sonic hears eggman capturing the animals so sonic runs off but he drops all the artifacts without tails noticing

I love the fact that when you get all the chaos emeralds as Sonic and Tails, that *BOTH* of them get their super transformation. Honestly is the way it should have been. I also like that the free fall special stage is based on the Sonic Advance special stages

I really like this fan game, I just started it but the controls feel way more accurate than sbts, although the framerate doesnt seem to flow solidly for me

This game is awesome, but it has 1 BIG MISTAKE: if you get a Time Over, the time doesn't reset to 0:00 at the last passed checkpoint.
