Generations takes place right after this game and the plot of the time eater bringing back time makes planet wisp make sense and they brought back the egg dragoon from unleashed with a level from sonic adventure 2

Worse controls, worse level design, worse graphics (due to being on a pisspoor "console") , soundtrack is crap aside for 2-3 tracks, story and voice acting are utter shit, and the Wisps suck. This is probably the shortest sonic game I've played all the stages are 1-2 minutes long and the first boss especially was a complete pushover More than the dark guardian from unleashed

The game needs "werehog level" or else it would be too short. But instead of switching between 2D and 3D segments, the levels should be full 2D and full 3D levels.

At the end of the day, it's a kids game, most of us aren't kids anymore, and we don't have the 2000s edge to make it more serious. It's a sad fate, but an inevitable one.

Chop man Thanks! I don't have much time for this kinda stuff at the moment. Maybe some time later. This video wasn't recorded in real time, it was captured via Dolphin emulator's frame dump feature, so your settings might not matter much.

It looks like a low-res, polygonal port of the Hedgehog Engine. Average, but I've seen much better. Plus, pretty graphics (for a shovelware game), shit gameplay. And people have the balls to say it's better than Forces, when it plays almost the same........

So, utterly scaled down graphics to be accomodated on a sub par gimmicky toy, drift not being able to recharge the Boost, no Air Dash, no 100 rings = 1 life, no Light Speed Dash, utterly stiff double jump, slippery physics, still overly linear corridors, on-rail autorunning Quick Step to Win, lame Mario power ups that are either nerfed Sonic abilities (Spikes = Spindash, Laser = Boost, Hover = Light Speed Dash and Tails) or either mandatory shitty gimmicks (Blue Cube) or worse, other characters abilities crammed into shitty power-ups (Drill and Frenzy = Knuckles, Hover, again, is Tails) and a load of clunky, cluttered, claustrophobic, long and tedious 2D sections are an improvement ? Also, no freaking replay value whatsoever, tedious and unrewarding Red Star Rings fetch quest aside, and a COMPLETELY useless Super Sonic ? Yeah, no. You've got it backwards, dude.

***** Unleashed's daytime levels I personally prefer over Colors's levels, but the game itself is nowhere close to as good because of the QTE bullshit it forces you to go through and the Werehog levels that go on and on for literally hours sometimes. IMO Generations got it perfect with 2 acts per zone but in very high quality detail and gameplay.

ToxicScrote Generations was way too short. Instead of half the filler missions, they could have worked more on story or on adding one more zone.
