The Speed Modeling series is back! I wanted to get this video out a lot earlier today but the rig was being weird and wasn't posing.
I was thinking about how the only Sonic model I made so far was REWRITE, so I wanted to do one of Sonic.EXE! I did really like the process for making this (the rig was the exception), and I had a lot of fun doing so! I'll be doing these more regularly alongside my main videos, so look out for that too!
I hope you guys like this little timelapse! :)

@@PicoTheReal Devil May Cry is a hack and slash single player game series where you go around in levels and kill demons, if you like that kinda thing I definitely recommend it :) (but skip DMC 2, it’s not worth playing)

Indubitably 🤝 I think it’s a lot easier that way since you can just fix something individually and not have it affect the rest of the model Also, nice to see you’re also doing Blender! :)

@@FlashDream he doesn't lmao some sonic.exe Character don't have the buckles since most sonic.exes is based off classic sonic which doesn't have buckles

how in the heck did you go from making outline-less 3d models to now making them with outlines?

Paint 3D didn't have an option to do that :( The closest thing I could do was duplicating the model, moving it behind the original, and turning it black to make an outline, it's a lot easier in Blender now :)

The thing you usually get for subdivision thing in modifier it just doesn’t show up for me

@@wolfieruby2447 When I add the subdivision modifier, I don’t apply it immediately, it’s easier for me to change the shape of the mesh that way So if you want that, don’t apply the subdivision modifier until you’re happy with how it looks.

The rigging, it’s normally a lot easier for for me because I’ve done it a few times, but for this the controls for the arms and legs weren’t moving said parts. The solution turned out to be a single step I forgot to do, and it made me feel dumb :(
