I loved playing ultimate flash sonic when I was younger.

Sonic for the SNES is a reskin of Speedy Gonzales for the SNES.

I played Ultimate Flash Sonic so much as a kid. I remember you could unlock Shadow and Amy but I always used cheat codes. And the quiz was right. Angel Island is called the Floating Island in Sonic 3 (manuals and shit)

Fun fact, at the start of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, it was going to originally have Sonic surf onto Angel Island Zone, and the fact that the sprite of Sonic surfing has the Sonic 2 style can definitely give away the fact that it was cut earlier in development.

That NES bootleg of Sonic 1 is actually a hack of Somari (which is also a bootleg). Using cheats you can access Green Hill and Marble Zone. Also the game from what I remember is titled "Sonic 3D Blast 5"

Floating Island was actually the original Japanese name for the location. It wasn't officially designated as "Angel Island" until Sonic Adventure, I believe. It was done so because people associated the name "Angel Island" with the island thanks to S3&K's first level being called Angel Island Zone. Even S3&K's English manual calls it "the Floating Island."

Out of the whole video, the only part I actually commented on was the quiz when you were asked about the island's name in Sonic 3......Which, at first I agreed but just as you clicked Emerald Island, I thought "Hang on, in the original Sonic 3, Angel Island was just the name of the first zone and that the whole island itself (I think I saw it in the manual) it was called Floating Island" Or I played a really dodgy port of the game and the quiz master did as well, who knows but I do remember it being called Floating Island before officially being dubbed 'Angel Island'.
