The reason the character is so good is because ever single item he uses always ends with him getting a speed boost. The only item with no speed boost given to him is shield (bevause obviously), and you have to have both slots filled to get one. He's gonna be nerfed very fast, at the very least.
He's a good character apparently, he's more of a speed player (For obvious reasons) I highly doubt that Hardlight will give many cards to get for the reasons already seen, As much as the Slipstream Whirlwind and the Blue Tornado, A small speed boost is a good thing in my opinion, the Pit Stop noticed its somewhat decent speed, 13:31 I think that it happens to many of us that we set some of the traps and the other runners put some ahead of us, and when we jump we hit our own traps that we set, and the reason why we lose the matches and cups for that reason, I think I feel a little relief, I think... 19:50 I think it can give us an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time, although I know it won't give them much of a boost, but even the small things will cost us dearly PD: I know it's a lot of text but I at least wanted to highlight my points, on this... Thanks for the video, SWB. Seems like EGS will rule the game until we find a counter - Snowdrift looks like a good contender. Whales will be whaling on him, that's for sure - if that attack is spammed, he'll be unreachable for slow boosters. Good anti-measures are autominers, like QBZ, Blaze, UC, Infinite and Mephiles (attack-mechanic-wise), speed-wise only the dragons, Surge and Snowy could maybe reach him. And his attack WILL be spammed. Next season will be all against him, I suppose. Oh and super clean intro, love that Riders-style :)

Metal Sonic can copy any attributes of the character he steals from, like if you steal from Surge you will also have the cooldown effect after using the item

Tangle and Surge technically built like that too. 2 mini boosts with a main boost. Extreme Gear Sonic, however, can easily stack or chain the mini boosts together to get a crazy amount of speed to either catch up or completely dust the competition.
@@SegaMaster172 a trivial example there are two sailing boats one with Tangle and Surge and the other a speedboat with Extreme sonic headlights a sailing comparison. Tangle to a slim mini boost each powerup and surge a mini boost release after charging then there speedboat with extreme sonic. then compare them and then you will understand that extreme sonic can have an advantage of 3 boosts on the attack and more get caught on purpose on defense and then take back the mini boost as you say is right but for me it is a little exaggerated because only that tangle and surge remain more behind extreme sonic. This is just an example of mine, it's not as real as you say and I swear you're not wrong.

Wonder if the Phantom Rider, Sonic’s alter ego gets to Sonic Forces Speed Battle, that would be awesome. More Extreme Gear Sonic Riders characters need to be included in Sonic Forces Speed Battle. 🤩🤩

I mean don't get me wrong the pit stop is good for us but what if somebody else like a sweat comes in the battle and uses pit stop and Cooks you. Extreme gear sonic looks like he's a really boost related character like Tangle, I'm just letting y'all know I'm going to use that character a lot when I get him, and one more thing how do you get the characters before the event
