its super insane sega didnt see sony's Spiderman and think "people would REALLY like that with a sonic game" and just do it. like multiple unlockable skins with unique shaders and styles, the freedom to just go wherever you want without hesitation, and a bigger skill tree. Sonic has a lot to offer fans, sega, PLEASE take more pages from gaming than just botw.
Creator of the Rauru skin here, absolutely loved the showcase and the commentary, it brought a massive smile to my face! 😅 Only thing I wanna say is that I did actually included with the mod an altered cross slash animation to have it come out of his arm, I’m not sure if you missed it or if you did mention it and I forgot but I thought I’d just mention it. It's crazy to me how Sonic Team hasn't even attempted to do a cel-shaded Sonic game. At least with today's technology and visuals. It would look just like the Sonic Channel artworks if they did.

That's why I love the modding community and you do a great job making these videos with comments, this is the perfect combination of mods that could easily be in Frontiers or the official sequels because it's really good and really cool, all this work, main the animations I loved this Parry animation, it's so cool and has such a shounen vibe! I really want to see the other remaining mods if combining this with the Dragonfire Sonic skins and a Goku Sonic mod (basically the Track Suit with the colors and symbol of Goku's Gi) will fit perfectly!
I'm glad so many people feel this way!! I want to put modding back in the spotlight it felt like it had during the Generations days :) everyone's hardwork deserves more recognition! And yeah, the parry was probably my favorite in the video aside from the boost startup! I had no idea Dragonfire and Goku had mods (unless those are upcoming in a Rio Sonic update?) they sound clean AF though.
@@DolphynsDeck yeah, it's such a good feeling for both sides, Sock has been updating Rio Sonic's mod frequently and he is also slowly working with other characters like Knuckles, in the case of Goku Sonic who made the skin was a person who tagged Sock but he explained that it's easy using the color palette and Goku's Gi symbol, he even told Sock that if a Shadow mod made by him is added he will make a Vegeta skin to match Sonic's, I like how the mod community shows that the fun is infinite and limitless
@@luizmiguel5484 I'm honestly dying for the Knuckles model. He's my most played besides Sonic. I think I'm one of the only people that has done an import for him? A lot of the other ones are model edits (which are still cool) but I enjoy full overhauls. I actually did see the Goku texture now that I think of it! I need to think up some more custom shirts myself, that's such an underrated feature of the mod.
@@DolphynsDeck me too, I also like Knuckles just like I like Amy and Tails, I'm curious to see what Sock is planning for them but exploring the shirt texture custom is a great idea! How about making some branded clothes for Sonic to wear? how to make the shirt and shoes have a pattern of clothes from Nike, Adidas and etc., it's a simple idea but I think it's cool

I bought a new PC yesterday and I'm now able to play Frontiers at a stable 60 FPS on the highest graphics. I'm having a blast with Reanimated Frontiers and Mach Speed Physics. Though I don't know how to combine other model mods with Reanimated Frontiers and I can't find any tutorials.
First of all, thank you! I don't currently plan to make a Silver video because it seems pretty old for a showcase but I might be able to spice it up by using him in certain areas / parts of the game. We'll see! ;)
I know you haven't done anything with lost world but I'm having an issue with getting level mods to work every thing else loads but the level themselves if you know a fix can you please let me know
It's possible with HMM configuration! Would need to get all the creators to collaborate on that, though! Might be a thing I could ask about if enough people wanted it lol.
I think they've already taken a bunch. It's just that Sega themself probably wants them to keep budgeting hard so they focus on mechanics rather than production value

@@DolphynsDeck Yeah! I made the mod Update 3 compatible! Thus adding SS2. It was also my first time modding Frontiers, so I could make the outline for SS2 thinner now, but I'm still really proud about it!
I'm impressed you figured that out for your first mod holy I wouldn't know where to start on editing those effects but as an aspiring modder I'm gonna learn one of these days
@@DolphynsDeck Thank you! And yeah, it was kinda hard, but thanks to it I know how to mod now! Fun fact, Sock was the one who mostly thought me everything. And changing the thickness of SS1 or 2's outline, isn't actually hard at all!
Would seriously love to be playing the game with these mods but HedgeModManager ain't combining with the game for me for some reason. Just makes it crash after boot up😞

I definitely didn't think of the IDW pose, that would be HUGE if true! Even if not that's a really cool coincidence and it's my new headcanon.
