@@DontTripChickenStrip stop trying to answer for shitty design with "lol git gud" Knuckles played perfect in SA1 and SA2 there was literally no reason to make it worse here
Just listening to this in-game, it felt like I was playing an entirely different game. Like a refreshing wave of satisfaction, if that describes it right.
I like how the title of the theme "Way To The Unknown" sorta relates to Knuckles' SA1/2 theme "Unknown From M.E." Aside from that, this track is absolute fire, probably my favourite in the new OST so far (not gotten to the final fight with Supreme or The End yet so no spoilers pls)
Gotta love how this theme pays tribute to both 3&K knuckles them with the little doots here and there that are played in the same way but with this songs instruments and the Lyrics paying respect to "unknown from M.E" It's like the song is encapsulating his character arc in Frontiers. He's ready to stop wasting away on Island, it's time for him to start living to remember the past but keep moving forward in the moment, to let the blood flow and live. In a way the song also at some points feels like Tikal and the M.E are telling him it's okay to live his life. Also yes the M.E in "Unknown from M.E" stands for master emerald. Ya know makes sense considering in SA and SA2 he's searching for the M.E keeping his feeling always as a second option from himself and the M.E.
Ohtani's debut with the Sonic series was Knuckles' stage themes from SA2 so it feels right to see him wrap around to compose a theme specifically for him again, and it sounds great!
Nah, can't say it for this one, he nailed Amy and tails but this one is a massive flop, with all the beautiful piano work on all the game, this is where the jazzy piano should take the main light just like how the bass takes the control in tails theme.
@@thebluerodriguez4085It also just doesn't really fit Knuckles. Honestly I would've preferred full vocal themes for the characters instead of loops with instrumentation.

This music is possibly my favorite out of all of the playable characters movements music since it is a combination of vibe and jamming at the same time 😀
@@user-ut2oo3kx3s The singer for 1-2 (and almost all of the vocal Cyberspace tracks except for 4-2 and 4-8) is a singer called YURI. That said, I'm not sure if YURI is the singer here or not. Nana Hatori wrote the lyrics for the songs, but didn't perform them.
@@user-ut2oo3kx3s Nana Hatori wrote all of the songs, but YURI was the female vocalist for the Cyber Space ones! They do have quite similar voices though.
