James M. Gemino I was just thinking the same thing. Wtf were they thinking? Forces is such a huge step backwards from Generations, Unleashed, and even Colors....I was pretty excited for Forces, but it really let me down.
My god that Rooftop Run playthrough seriously MY GOD Such skill and timing that was pure badass skill as someone who loves the Rush/Boost gameplay you got my respect
The Unleashed Project is a prime example of how much better Generations Sonic is. He works way better at platforming and controls so much better when boosting.
Why does this look and play dramatically better than any other sonic game? Even the new one, Frontiers looks slow and boring compared. Wow They nailed it with generations and Unleashed. Everything after has just been.. really not fun.
Because Modders cant create or add something which unadded object or enemy. They only can change its skin so thats why gun truck appears in this level in Generations mod
Kingdom080500 Yeah, you're right. Maybe it's because I based myself on videos, so I guess the people who recorded them already had full speed. Also, Generations does have a kind of speed upgrade, but it's only one if i'm not mistaken.
+Ariel Jersey Jr Actually with the skills: blast off, direct jump, acceleration, speed up and athleticism. Sonic in generations is faster in "the non broken way". But, since unleashed drift is broken, you can use it to go a LOT faster than you should, with that unleashed is faster.
+Ândreo Barros or you could use QSS to break the sound barrier, or m-speed/d-speed to go even faster OR break jump glitch to go so fast you crash the game!
@Gallo I am not saying about graphics, the level design itself is simplified, more strait and some clever choices in the adaptation that turns the game to be 'faster' in some aspects (I am not talking about sonic speed alone of course). Graphics wise, xbox is better obviously.
Huh, I don't remember that truck being in Unleashed ;) But seriously though, this is extremely impressive. I still haven't figured out how that snowmobile was done in Generations.
As of today, i5 2500k @ 4.3 GHZ / EVGA GTX 970 3.5 GB / 8 GB DDR3 Ram / Z77-D3H Gigabyte / Antec Earth Green 500w / 128 Corsair Force 3 GS SSD / 2 GB WD Black HDD / Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. If you're asking for building a new system I'd check this NeoGAF thread: www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=944920 . I personally like the $885 build with a GTX 970/212 EVO/2TB HDD added.
This game was awesome!! Its a shame the games was hampered by bad reviews due to the "werehog" stages!! This video just shows balls to the wall speed that looks like "Sonic on steroids". Just goes to show there more than just on-the-rails action and that its doesn't slow down after the first stage. The level design is awesome and love the multiple routes.
vl4eva You know this is a mod for Sonic Generations right ? Stil, i agee, the day time stages are full of speed and precise timing, while the night time stages are based on slow and precise platforming while having some insanley fun combat features :) I see way too often people who forget that the werehog is not meant for button mashing :/ You need to know the different applications of his skills, and then combine them together to get a massive combo ^_^
Neo TricksterZero Sonic unleashed was great and I pisses me off how ppl say it was a bad game cuz of the warehog stages. In my opinion the warehog stages show the potential that SEGA has in creating a beautiful background I mean look at the different locations and stages. Plus the combat in the game was very well made. Like stated you can't just button smash since some levels will punish you by allowing you to fall to your death. But if you do different combos beating the enemies gets easy and u find it easier to not fall off like in the Empire City levels
@@aahiljcat Oh please. While the platforming was better in the Wii/PS2 versions, they ALSO really increased my appreciation for how AMAZING the combat was in the 360/PS3 versions.
I think I will be re-watching this video for a long time to come. The sense of speed and graphics...wow just wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to capture and upload this!
imo sonic generations is one of the most beautiful games ive seen not necessarily because its showing of the power of whatever its played on but because its style is timeless and at 60fps its just mesmerizing i really wish sega would still take pride in their mascot and put some acual effort in again
Someone needs to make a mod that disables the asinine "music goes all quiet and muddled when you boost" thing already. It singlehandedly destroys the impact of the games' soundtracks.
Ben Baez no no it should not world adventure had less platforming and less effort in level design and worse controls and button layouts but hey at least it's better then forces
@@75JUNAKIThree things: 1. This is Sonic Generations, not Sonic World Adventure 2. Can you please stop comparing the actually good Sonic games with Sonic Forces? 3. Oh come on! Don't say that about the level design of Sonic World Adventure!(Day stages, obviously!) That one has Multiple pathways, 2D platforming sections that doesn't even feel 2D, sections where you can actually go fast, and they're obviously hard! I kinda agree with the controls, they're kinda wonky
Edit: For some reason, even after I reinstalled Sonic Generations, the Unleashed Project won't load. Every time I load it through Sonic GMI, it just loads Regular Sonic Generations.
Watching these at 60fps really close to my screen feels so gratifying. Now if someone can take the camera and make it first person view and VR, I can die happy.
It was actually very fun discovering good routes for myself to get S ranks, but after some time I just get lost and need to shave off like 1-2 seconds, this video really helps, thank you
Bill Cipher/DiamondGaming I mean to say that Colours were the first to have the voice, but yeah.. I would've loved it if they had those voices, and, more if it was as fast as Unleashed.
As someone who hasn't touched a Sonic game since Generations (excluding Mania), Adabat has got to be one of the most gorgeous stages I've seen in the series.
THIS is how Modern Sonic should be! Unleashed Day levels length, Generations physics, only original ideas and a story that actually tries to make sense or to be like the 2000's Sonic games' stories
4:07 Man, that drift is TIGHT. Thank goodness for games like Generations where they clean up the movement. The controls in Unleashed were SO BAD that they make Heroes and Shadow feel like the Adventure games.
Oh. My. God. These look incredible!! i need to play this mod as soon as i can D: Also, watching this i feel like there's a core gameplay here that is AWESOME. Sega needs to revisit this Sonic gameplay ASAP. Probably tweak some things. The Level design is there, and it can probably be improved even more. The fact that they based all the levels in real locations makes me think of way back then, when i imagined a little sonic running through roofs, when travelling in the back of my dad's car Perhaps the boost formula can be improved to be a bit less automatic: perhaps it could work just like it did in Sonic Advance 2, with Sonic only boosting when reaching maximum speed, but, perhaps adding other moves that allows him to burst acceleration from 0 to halfway max speed. There's so much that can be done and improved with this formula! i just hope sega takes it and makes at least 5 times more amazing than what was showcased in this video.
i agree with ya friend i would love to play these level with generations easy control and faster(if he included skills which i would of doneXD) but idc about the voice actor
Sheesh, most of these comments are dumb. Better physics and level design is a lot more important than "unleashed is faster than generations". Cause, overall, generations is LEAGUES better than Unleashed.
@Random Passerby Werehog stages. You people are looking at the quarter of Unleashed that was actually good and judging the entire game based off of it. I'm sorry, but as someone who loves the daytime stages in Unleashed the Nighttime stages completely taint the game.
