This is a video from me, DarkspinesSonic A.K.A Da1AndOnlySonic, showing an S-Rank battle against Hard Mode Death Egg Robot on Sonic Generations for the PS3. This is actually the second boss fight in the game, Metal Sonic is the first boss

in the 3ds version instead of battling death egg robot and perfect chaos you got to battle big arm from sonic 3 and biolizard from sonic adventure 2. big arm is easy because they have short space for battling him. and instead of battling in rival battles you have to race.

In Sonic 2 THE DEATH EGG WAS BORN TO BE THE HAEDEST BOSS BECAUSE WHEN I BEAT OVER MY 13 TRY'S HE GAVE ME A CURSE EVERY TIME I HEAR HIS THEME SONG I GET GOOSE BUMPS AND ZONE OUT THINKING ABOUT THE FIGHT

@DrShadowPrower I dunno bro, I think whether Metal Sonic is 1st or 2nd is kinda subjective The Death Egg Robo you HAVE to fight, but Metal Sonic you can save for last, y'know what I mean?

reversalmushroom Sonic 2's was just as easy. You run to one side, let him land, hit him, run to the other side, and repeat.

Ok but Metal Sonic still technically counts as the first boss since you fight him first and it is an actual fight against him so he IS the first boss of the game, stop arguing about it alright

Easy gramps. Besides, if you want to test yourself, try doing it without being hit, or risk things like Darkspine did in the first phase. All people are doing these days is keeping a safetynet for people who are a little slow
