In Little Big Planet 1, Sackboy tried to fix everyone’s problems. He helped Frida the bride find Don Lu, saved Uncle Jalepeno from Sheriff Zapta, saved Mags the mechanic and her construction sight from Ze dude, defeated the terrible Oni, got a flame throwing cat from the great magician, and saved all the characters from the collector. In Little big planet 2, Sackboy saved the world from the Negativitron. In Little Big planet 3, Sackboy, Oddsock, Toggle, and Swoop saved the world from Newton.

If they are, it hasn't been announced yet. But there is a fangame in development on PC called LittleBigPlanet: Restitched. It's being made by Trixel Creative, the guys behind Return to Carnivalia. You can even get stickers from it! Of course, they aren't official, but still!
