i can imagine Team Chaotix geting chased by A Giant alligator. Charmy: Oh no it's a Giant Crocodile! Vector talk some sense into this guy! Vector: Right because i'm a Crocodile we must be friends, Come On!
I still remember crapping a brick when that Alligator first showed up. I actually fell into the swamp. Also, am I the only one who wanted Team Chaotix to have to deal with the Alligator, just to hear Vector’s reaction?
When I was really young when playing this game, I could never get past this level. Not because of difficulty, but because those giant robots with the hammer terrified me so much. Fortunately later on, I racked up the courage to complete this game and smash them before they smashed me.

It took me 6 months to beat that alligator part. I say 6 months because I tried it a bunch of times and failed and stopped playing it for 5 months out of frustration lmao
Man I hated that damn crocodile. But then again I remember that i survive it after I got hit by it. XD Then continue normally without no danger but still get a fuckin E Rank. ;v;
I remember having my 2 friends over while doing this level and as soon as I got to the crocodile part I made them go to another room so I could concentrate...it was too tense for kid me
Knuckles: Woah, what was that?!? There’s something big in this swamp! Tails: It’s an alligator. A GIANT ALLIGATOR! Sonic: Hmmm, interesting. Let’s see who’s faster! I remember playing this stage as a kid and making it to the alligator chase. I always used tails as the team leader to guide me through the vines in case I got the timing wrong and use him to fly over to the correct spot.
I played this level again yesterday and had to restart the level 3 times to get an A rank because of the last part . What made this annoying really was that I have to this AGAIN FOR TEAM DARK!!! and that’s not counting challenge mode
I loved this level my first time even though I had 2 game overs (spoiler one of them was on the crocodile :) yes I'm playing this game for the first time I'm already in Final Fortress with team Sonic

How the fuck do you beat the ending part consistently I'm playing this game on windows and it's my second time through this with team Dark now and I can't get a run without dying because I consistently always die there
hold directional towards you (on PC it'd be down button) and of course , hit A when you're at or near peak swing in said direction. I find it I don't do that, it'll mess up at some point or another even if i'm timing the A correctly
4:37 This part is so fucking cheap for the simple fact the 'dile behind not only making so much noise, but also moving too much making your eyes wanting to focus on him and eventually making you lose your rhythm. Going through this with the key is hell
This game is so visually unpleasant, those character switches are something odd, the characters simply appear where the one you were using before was, and the physics are also poorly constructed, the characters, especially the speed ones, I feel like they are sliding on the floor instead of running. This game was funny when I was younger, but something must be said, it was a huge regression compared to Sonic Adventure series in most aspects, even graphically, the characters look better in some ways, but Sonic's design is baddly done and they look made of plastic. Not to mention the PS2 version full of bugs, especially in the bonus. The next and last good Sonic game came in 2008, Sonic Unleashed.
