The reason why Dr. Eggman put Shadow in the capsule between the events of Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes, because he was trying to recover and restore Shadow's lost memories. However, Rouge the Bat released and woke up Shadow, and his memories were not fully recover and restore yet. This was all Rouge the Bat's fault. If she never found Shadow in Dr. Eggman's secret base in the first place, none of this would ever happen.

I just realize that when you select a Sonic Heroes team, the person who says it first is the leader of the team. Sonic for Team Sonic Rouge for Team Dark Amy for Team Rose And Vector for Team Chaotix
