Actually Sonic is canonically smart though. He perceives everything at a faster level and average. If he didn’t he would always bump into things whilst he runs. When it was just him and Tails he would teach tails everything. Sonic just likes to be more physically involved than stationary but he is smart.

Patch toons is a genius. He made the "basically the Sonic the hedgehog movie series" and that got insanely popular so he then carried all of those Sonic fans onto a new channel so he can retain his Sonic fan audience and still make new different animations on his channel. Truly a RU-vid genius.
