It's cool, and I also did something similar (on another channel not this one, my ideal remix levels utilized for a Sonic Mania 2, won't shamelessly plug that channel or video, just high fiving over shared ideas lol). Lots of good choices, though ehh... think Sky Sanctuary might not be great, we already got that in Mania, don't want it being another Chemical Plant or Green Hill. Marble Zone 100% agree, it needs and deserves a full on remix so it can be playable, it's got such a good song, too bad it's bogged down by a boring level design, out of all the classic stages Marble deserves a remix the most. ... Shadow though? He's not a classic character, and there's tons of other classic characters you could include way before him. Metal Sonic 100% could be there alongside Amy, both being from CD, you brought Back Mighty's wall cling, so why not the Chaotix, Vector, Charmy, Espio, heck Bomb and Heavy. Metal Knuckles, Fang has been rising back in popularity with the TT fan remake and Superstars, the other baddies in his gang Bean and Bark. Not to spoil stuff, and heck don't spoil me lol, haven't played it yet, but the new character in Superstars. Not that it's impossible for Shadow I suppose, but you'd really need to jump through hoops for the story to make it make sense, like maybe a Sonic (oh lord) Forces 2, Shadow is warped back in time to Classic Sonic's time along with Classic Sonic thanks to the Phantom Ruby. Not 100% apposed to it, because LORE AND CANON BREAKING like some people, but gotta work for it, and how could you separate him from being just another Sonic clone? Especially when the og Sonic copy Metal is also beloved and easily capable of being playable in the classic games. Even so Metal has had move sets in fan games, mods, and even real Sonic games to separate him. SA2 he's got the energy field shield... that might actually be it lol (but feel they were implying in 4 Episode Metal they would build up to that, since Sonic 4 was not just a sequel to 3&K but a prequel to Adventure 1... if Sonic 4 Episode 3 had ever come to fruition). Sonic 1 Forever and 2 Absolute mods, he's got an extra mid air jump that's directional, even more so in 2 allowing him a dash not just left or right, but also up. TT remake and 3 AIR he's got an electric shield field. So this character that is more likely in Metal Sonic since he's been in the franchise since the 2nd games, heck Amy in her own right is also too similar to Sonic, so how would Shadow differentiate? It's cool, I like Shadow too, but there's gotta be reasons for him being here besides fan service.
