Sonic unleashed is basically the game were eggmans dreams almost come true... He was trying to build the egg dragoon at the beggining since sonic 1 and in sonic adventure 1 he says he going to harness the energy of chaos ( I think its been a while since I've played it) to build "robotnickland" and in unleashed he finally managed to finish the egg dragoon almost but close harness the energy of the chaos emeralds then break the world into pieces unleashing dark Gaia which he harnesses the energy to build eggmanland .... The closest eggman has ever come to winning

Eggman realized that Sonic in close quarters combat was a bad idea, especially if its Werehog Sonic so he made alterations for his Egg Dragoon to move fast.. And it still didn't work

This is perfect. It’s got hype because of the fast drums from Generations and the tension because of the high strings from Unleashed

I thought it was pretty awesome that they found a way to make a Werehog boss battle reworked for Daytime Sonic. Both of these battles were still awesome though.

Sonic Generations and Sonic Unleashed are the best games ever. And the Egg Dragoon boss battle of both are the best Sonic music/songs ever in the whole Sonic history. I honestly listened to both countless times, because when I played Sonic Generations again and I played that boss battle I was like "Ay I'm so vibin' to this even if I keep dying lol" (but then at the last life I won hehe) so I searched it and...I listened to it over and over again. Sonic is just...a true giga legend.

And to this day I still don't know how Sega managed to ""mess up"" this song in both games Like, in Unleashed the ""main"" instruments (idk their names) pretty much overlaps the other ones, making them *almost* unhearable And then in Generations they simply *removed* one of them from the Song (aka. The reason why that version have some ""empty"" parts on it) Don't get me wrong, I love this song but... Seriously, it's like that Star Wars meme: ""We were on the verge of greatness, we were this close.""

Then as the remix begins to play, I could see Sonic the Hedgehog running across the desert and maybe battling and defeating Zero Squared from "Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards". The final boss battle would be taking place in the desert during the night in this version of the game. What do you think, Desilent49?

He means classic eggman, which was called robotnik before meeting his future counterpart.

I think by Robotnik he was referring to Classic Eggman, as opposed to Modern Eggman who actually pilots the Egg Dragoon in Generations. Although there was no need for him to try to sound like a smartass, since it really wasn't that apparent...

They kind of are in Sonic Generations seeing as how Dr. Eggman brought back his old self, Dr. Robotnik, to help him. Thus, creating two people - Dr. Eggman and Dr. Robotnik. Other wise, you're right. :P

Generations was better Both music and boss. Probably the only boss I'd swap from unleashed.
