@@Shlo0000sh From 2015-17 that was when sonic youtube content was in its worst stages. People couldn't agree on anything except for the fact they had a strange underlying dislike for the franchise, despite calling themselves fans
You are so underrated you deserve so many more subs. I love the editing, and I also have learnt stuff about sonic mobile games I never knew, and I loved the over videos as well 😁
i remember playing the mobile version of sonic racing transformed, i had my way older cousin come over at the time (this was around 9-10 years ago) and we were grinding the game, we unlocked most of the characters and everything, then the next day i opened the game, the progress is gone, this happened all the time it just loves to reset progress for no reason
So to clear up the confusion Sonic Dash originally had Character *Tokens* that spawned during events related to a specific character. Prior to Version 7.0.0, the number of required Tokens fluctuated from 100 to 500 then 250 before 1,000 became the required amount before eventually being replaced with the Character Card system from Sonic Forces: Speed Battle. Now, that would've been okay if it worked similar to Sonic Forces: Speed Battle if it wasn't for the fact that there's a *hard limit* for how many cards you get *per day* and the fact you now need a certain number of Character Cards to *upgrade* a character of your choosing when previously it was just gather a specific number of Rings. This causes characters who are considered "Legendary" to be *permanently stuck* at whatever stats they had prior to the update which unfortunately includes the numerous crossover characters. Now here's a theory I came up with, SEGA HARDlight most likely replaced the Character Tokens with the Character Cards so that way those who downloaded Sonic Prime Dash and Sonic Dash didn't get confused why the exact same game exists with minor differences. Of course even then Sonic Prime Dash is just Sonic Dash+ with a Sonic Prime skin slapped on it so that's even more embarrassing.
They changed to the card system to more heavily monetize it. I saw their shop and they sell legendary card packs for like 10 bucks, it's awful. They could care less about if people think its the same game, Hardlight just goes for the money. I'm glad I still have the version pre-card system installed
I lost my account because of this and I was so pissed. I had most of the characters and even Movie Sonic, which seems to not appear anymore in the character selection screen. I had also almost unlocked shadow and now my save is just gone. My achievements are still saved on GP Games, but my progress is reset. I stopped playing after that lol
Video's fine, I like it but man imma be honest, the transition are too long and hard to guess what is going on in them due to bloor or hard large logos, some disclaimers are up for too short and unnecessary repeats of clips.
Love how Hardlight singlehandedly killed both Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces: Speed Battle. Dash died when it got the cards revamp and Forces... you gotta be in the Forces Speed Battle community to fully understand what Hardlight did but in short, they killed the game by completely destroy the balancing.
Speed Battle was good? I played it a few times over the years(first wave of playtime was on launch) and while fun, it still had several of the same key issues it has now.
@@lpfan4491 It is way worse now, Most of the characters are fucking busted. It makes the game way more unplayable once you gotta deal with spammers in every race
@@CatchinBodies back then you could use starter characters like Sonic and still win in high-ranking matches if you're good enough. Now it's almost impossible to win if you're not using a strong racer because of how broken all the new characters are.
Clicked on this just from instinct and realised it doesn't has thousand of views??-- It's really well edited! And i barely knew any of the info and games you showed!
SFSB is nothing like Marvel Strike Force or real Sonic Forces, just the title of the game and that's basically it SFSB is a racing game, while Marvel Strike Force is an RPG
@@BTSC_Mapping_Official plenty of mobile games have character unlock systems made like that SFSB is not ripping off Marvel Strike Force the gameplay is completely different
I would still play all the Sonic Cafe games if i could and rip all the sprites that was only used for these games. Some is actually kind of decent for its time. Or at least i remember how early 2000s mobile games played.
Bruhhhhh I don’t see problems with mobile sonic games Most people cannot afford consoles like you or rich people and the fact that people complained about dream team being a mobile game shows that people like people with consoles want us mobile users to burn in hell
