I had the worst experience today at Build A Bear to the point of considering contacting the BBB. A couple had their bear stuffed and were offered a heart and opportunity to put the heart inside. They also has the opportunity to check the stuffing to see if it was too their liking. The store associate was very attentive and talkative. When it was my turn I handed over the Sonic doll and the sound mechanism to put inside. She started out talking and then offered to upsell a disc that has a scent. I declined. She then made minimal effort to speak. She didn’t offer a heart or the opportunity to feel the stuffing. She then placed the sound disc in Sonics chest after stuffing. When I asked if it was supposed to be in the hand, she said no because his arm was too narrow for it to fit through. Now I see your Sonic can have his hand pressed for sound. I am so unnerved by my experience. To test if it was just me she acted this way towards, I waited around and watched the associate interact with two women that had characters to stuff, none of which were Sonic, but she did offer them the opportunity to check the stuffing and also a heart. She was very interactive with them. I am not going to say it was racial discrimination because it can be subtle or very hard to detect. What I know is, I was treated haphazardly and my money nor time were valued in that store. The store is located in the Cherry Hill Mall, Cherry Hill NJ
WoW ! That's actually so awesome and cute I wish that would go in France Its rare to see Sonic Toys or plushes in France nowadays I hope that with the Sonic movies Popularity Sonic becomes Popular again in France and that we'll get more Sonic merchandise
Only a day ago I got the sonic 2 build a bear knuckles. He was the last one, and I thought he was a online exclusive? But anyways, i was stoked to see him I store. My little bro got tails.
He's so cute, I've wanted him ever since he's released but sadly all the Build-a-bear stores in my country Singapore have all closed sadly 😔and another problem is parents problem ,they wun allow me to get him, but here's a suggestion to you,u could buy more outfits n even diff types of shoes for Sonic too and even a lil bag for him to ride in for whenever you go,you can take Sonic with you
I’ve been wanting to get the one but just never had time, I finally went to the build a bear at my mall a couple days ago, He was sold out and then I found out scalpers bought every single Sonic plush and sold them for 90 billion dollars on Ebay. Typical scalpers, I should’ve known this would happen.
