Just as a heads up for whoever's thinking about this. The S3&k port uses PC tracks for the ending, carnival night, icecap, and launch base. The music in angel island also runs a tad bit slower than original. Will update more with other finds here.

Been playing this today to celebrate Sonics 31st, Playing Sonic 2 with a buttery smooth 60fps and widescreen support with a retrobit saturn controller absolutly priceless :)

The inclusion of Amy rose in the animation, beside tails sonic and knuckles, makes me believe she is an unlockable playable character

I absolutely love playing this it brings me back to the sonic mega collection on my ds even has all the artwork that was in that game and it’s fun to unlock this time. I feel like stuff should cost more tho I’ve gotten half the collection finished from beating sonic 1 and sonic 1 missions with all S rank maybe I’m just too good but I had the same issue with Colors Ultimate taking some of the reward effect away by making it too easy to buy everything. I really hope the spin dash sound fx gets fixed tho it’s supposed to increase in pitch the more you charge it the mobile ports had the same problem so I assume it was just forgotten entirely but it really adds more impact to how fun the spin dash is hearing it charge up

This is so sick! No more having to bust out my old sega system with all sorts of video conversions just to play. Ohhhh man!

That classic sonic art style works so much better than whatever they have going on now.

If only the people who whine and complain that this game is "glitchy and inferior" had the potential intelligence to understand that these games actually succeeded in performing the exact task they desired to perform. That task being not only bringing the original versions of said games onto a collections of new platforms, but also bringing new versions of said games which had new things you could do and even some minor updates to flaws from the original versions of said games. For instance, the remakes were glitchy, but do you not realize that if a game doesn't have glitches it isn't a real game? Sure even if said glitches are just something minor, like getting stuck in the wall when turning super near a spinning drum, it really doesn't make the game any worse if it did what it really wanted to do. I mean come on guys, 3/5 is the halfway point. Just like say 5/10. It doesn't mean a "awful game". Heck, a game at 2/10 is still better than something that's 1/10. Stop being such whiners and people of poor personalities and realize that even a 6/10 is a game worth playing.

Honestly, I’m kinda tired of seeing 1 and 2 on collections at this point because they’re always there, but 3 & knuckles and CD were a pleasant surprise.

Can’t wait to play the same game for the fourth time :)

If anything, Sonic Mania taught me that there will probably be a physical release with all the content. So I'll wait for that.

The only thing that would stop me from buying this game is if they replace the MJ team music from Sonic 3. I am not a fan of the bs tracks they put in to replace them.

Certain tracks being removed and replaced in Sonic 3 sucks, sure, but look at it this way: it was that or Sega yet again not being able to put S3&K in a collection. Besides, you could always lower the TV/Switch audio while playing the original tracks on your phone or something. Again, it sucks, but this better than not getting the game at all.

Does Sega not care about the Sonic amiibo compatibility they could’ve done with Sonic Origins or other Sonic games?

Finally a decent port of Sonic 3 and K on something newer than a GameCube. The widescreen is nice too. Not perfect on Switch, but leaps and bounds better than the 3ds collection.

I've been playing this since this morning at the times that i had time to play (exept when i instead spended time with friends & so far i've already beaten all of sonic 1 with all characters exept mirror mode (playing that now as sonic) & not gonna lie, i absolutly love this, it's deffinetly the best classic sonic collection i've played if not the best 1 to exist, even though i never liked the original sonic CD, i plan on getting 100% percent completion & will give it another chance with this version
