I feel like Sonic especially kept getting thrown around, beaten up, knocked out, and screamed way too much throughout the show. He barely ever got the upper hand on some of the characters he was fighting including the Thorny Rose character. Like, out of all the characters, he gots bodied by an Amy variant? It honestly got really annoying and repetitive, the show and the action. It's sad to say that the show itself was not at all what I was expecting and was kind of cringy to watch.
Hes such a fucking loser in this show is embarrassing. I still don’t believe its game sonic and is canon. But if so, how do they expect me to believe this is the same sonic who can fend for himself and fight things several times his size and use his speed to his advantage in most fights
I don't think this show is as good as transformers prime or even cyberverse when it comes to characterization, story and being an all ages thing. And it drags the filler stuff into two parts... But for just kids they'll probably love it and remember it for the action and animation. One thing I will say is that it doesn't matter what era of what cool is defined as, being a spazoid will never be one of them. And prime sonic is just a nice spazoid. He really not the cheesy cool self he usually is. At least the VA is good. But yeah you right about the show being one big shaggy dog story with the alternate counterparts and universes.
Is nobody going to mention how there was a master emerald level stone in Green Hill (where scrap brain used to be at) this whole time and eggman never tried getting EVEN THOUGH HE LIVED THERE, THIS SHOW IS SO STUPID!
@@boomprower thats the thing, this isn’t sonic X and if you removed them this show would have nothing to latch onto but fight scenes, making the take that they should even be removed in the first place sounds ridiculous
I think one of my biggest problems with Sonic Prime is how there is no alternative version of Sonic yet. I think what makes a multiverse story good is that it explores how different environments can effect the same character despite being the same person at their core.
I personally find its extremely ok. I wouldn't exactly call it the worse but I'm not going to sing its praises either. Like of 2022 sonic story material sonic prime is the most ok sonic material I have seen in a while. It doesn't do anything either too awful or too great. Speaking of Shadow I feel like we haven't seen enough of him to make full judgment of this Shadow. Of his actions he trys to get sonic to sit down and talk with him sonic won't listen and then they fight. He seems very mission focus and wants sonic to take the situation more seriously. Then he gets trapped and rightly blames sonic for his reckless behavior. My impression so far is he's not as bad as idw Shadow but only time will tell. So for know I reserve my judgment of this Shadow. Though by god I want a proper Sonic and Shadow teamup again we haven't had that since 06 or archie. Like Sonic and Shadow are very different from one another but when working together their almost a unbeatable team. Theirs also a lot of potential for comedy with Shadow playing the straight man to Sonic more goofy and lighthearted nature. I feel Theirs a lot of untapped potential of their dynamic that's rarely explored between thoses two for a story. If I were to give Sonic prime a rating it gets a C but that can change if Season 2 either drops the ball or makes improvements. Overall cheers to a new year and for future sonic material. I still have a lot to look forward to with this franchise and I will be watching closely.
It's a shame this is the show we got. Man of Action created Ben 10, and Wildbrain makes Ninjago. I like 22 minute episodes better, but I agree with everything else. 11 minutes can work like in Regular Show and Rise of the TMNT's case, but this show wasn't rushed, it had to much filler.
Your idea sounds similar to that Spider-Man cartoon where he travels on a spaceship to a new planet full of furries, with Carnage and Venom, then he just stays there to have adventures.
