I've always assumed the first season of Sonic Prime(i.e. the thing they're splitting into 3 right now) would focus on a smaller scale, the worlds created by the paradox prism, but then expand beyond it once they put it back together. If you remember Kamen Rider Decade, they focused on only the last decade(hurr) of Kamen Riders but then got into the Showa era and alternate versions after that

Bringing up the weird Canadian rules point for anyone who's curious. I currently live in Quebec, and nearly everyone knows English. It's very hard not to given America is really close by and 70% of the rest of Canada speaks English. Even the radio station plays English music (French music too). The movies in cinemas are in both French and English, and sometimes it's better to see the English versions because the French dubs can be bad. It's quite hard to practice French in Quebec I found if you're not very good because people will switch to English if they see you struggling.

I feel like sonic prime didn't make the most of the settings in the multidimensional world, so what will happen in the future? Metal Sonic imitation doesn't feel like a villain either. And as for sega allstars... Mr. Iizuka seems to want Sonic to succeed on its own, what do you think?

I really like Shadow’s interactions with Sonic on 06. He is willing to work with him and even save him from Silver. However, he has a very direct, straight to the point attitude and likes to be efficient.

The whole idea of SEGA doing their own thing separate from Nitendo & Mario is a good step to take. Although I do like Mario even though I don't know the Mario games too well, SEGA doesn't really need Mario to make money and I think the people at SEGA will do fine on their own thing. SEGA is right now simply following their own path of success.

I don't think Sonic and Friends is going to be an Olympics games, mostly because of the latter's declining popularity. I mean as ridded with scandal as they have been SEGA might be better off with a generic sports game for Sonic.

I strongly disagree with most Sonic fans' opinions on Sonic's portrayal in Sonic Prime being "bad." I don't understand why the majority of Sonic fans don't want sonic to have a character ark. Of course, Sonic is going to be very childish at the beginning, but he will progress and become more mature like how character arks are supposed to be. I get it if you personally don't like Sonic's character in the show, but don't go out calling it completely bad when it isn't. It's a great thing for a character to be relatable and to have a character ark.

I played the hell out of Sega All Stars Tennis on my PS2 growing up. Legit a very fun casual sports and party game. The puyopuyo minigame was my favorite.

Unpopular opinion, I like shadow more from forces the most. He was assertive and made a funny face when he said to rouge “you should’ve known that they send omega like this.” Best shadow I wish it was longer.

doubt it's ever gonna happen, but personally I'd love to see a collab between sega and koei tecmo to produce a sonic hack and slash game in the style of kt's warriors series. maybe more possible than ever, now that sonic has some combat in the main games, but still very doubtful. I just think sonic as a franchise would work very well with that kind of fast paced beat em up gameplay

I’ll believe it when I see it from SegaSammy reopening old IPs with effort. And to the general audience, Sonic while still small is gaining traction to a serviceable degree. My only concern is how long will that last before SegaSammy inevitably run his goodwill into the ground again(and their business practices towards quality and ports aren’t helping). I just don’t jive with having to accept surface level or unfinished quality to call myself a Sonic Fan, when outside of multimedia, the bar should be higher.

Tbh the shipping issue is a given with any mainstream franchise that has an ensemble cast of colorful characters. It's the same thing with the RWBY and MHA fandoms for example (albeit to a less crazier extent than MHA).

If anything Sonic and shadow are mirroring Dante and Vergil in terms of personality. Sonic/Dante both are cocky and slightly goofy heroes Shadow/Vergil both are stoic and diligent renegades.

Episode 9 is good. All I can say about Sonic Prime (both season 2 and as a whole) it's better than Sonic X and Sonic Boom (but way better than the 4kids dub of Sonic X) and I like the dynamic between Sonic and Shadow here, it's kinda like how Goku and Vegeta acts, if Goku did something stupid like that Vegeta is going to act the same way, but unlike Goku, Sonic in Sonic Prime knows when sh*t is real, but this whole shipping thing is BS, I blame the Archie/Satam fanboys/elitist for that, I enjoy Sonic mostly for the Games but I enjoy the Animations (mostly the DiC cartoons, OVA and Sonic Prime,) the Comics (more a fan of IDW BC the creepy fans ruined the Pre-Super Genesis Wave Archie comics for me) and the Sonic Paramount universe. As for this Sonic and Friends or Sega Superstars, IDK what it is but when it's revealed then we'll know what it is, I'd never played the OG Sega Superstars for Eyetoy, Sega Superstars Tennis was mediocre (Mario Power Tennis was better,) the racing games where great TSR was meh (better than CTR Nitro Fueled thanks to Activision-Blizzard monetizing the game I'll stick with the OG CTR fu*k them) but if it is a Sega Superstars game then I hope Atlus characters like Jack Frost, Joker, Morgana, Minato and Teddy make it and maybe call it Sega and Atlus All-Stars: Battle Royal. TBH the Mario and Sonic Olympic series is getting lackluster mostly because Sports games tend to end up lackluster just look at the Madden series and how Madden is the same thing every year, I think an RPG with Mario and Sonic can work, now if that happened especially that both the Super Mario Bros. movie and the Sonic movies are successes then it'll sell like hotcakes.
