Sonic Prime came out not too long ago, a fun series focusing on a multiverse with plenty of unique and fun universes to explore. We are blessed to know that Sonic Prime is already confirmed to have two more seasons or “parts” in the works, and while they already have their plan down, it’s still fun to predict what may happen. So, we’ve gathered a couple of theories on what may happen in Season 2 and we’ll be discussing what we think about them. #sonicprime

Archie doesn’t own Sally and the SatAM character. They were originally from the SatAM TV show and are own by Sega of America and their cartoon is own by WildBrain Studios the same company that makes Sonic Prime. Sega has ownership of the SatAM, AoStH, and Underground.

Apparently, the Archie Comics beat Prime when it came to alternate versions of the main characters; the Freedom Fighters even had villainous counterparts in the Suppression Squad. Also, they had an evil big the Cat.

Those are completely different universes that have existed long before The Shatter, I believe that's a step above a different shatterspace, and I highly doubt those universes will show up.

Nine becoming a villain actually makes sense, since when he and Sonic entered the "Clean Slate" world, Nine talks about remaking the world in his image. That's one of the top traits of villain: Making a new world in their eyes. Followed by independence, which Nine has known his entire life.

It would be interesting if they reference the older cartoons given Sonic Prime is a cartoon as well. I'd laugh if they even go as far as to reference the OVA. I honestly wish Prime wasn't considered canon to the games because then you'd have to figure out *when* it takes place in the canon. That, and it robs it from being a standalone cartoon like Sonic X, SatAM and Underground.

Don’t think too hard about the Sonic The Hedgehog canon. It’s probably just like the Legend Of Zelda canon in which everyone is cannon, but it’s all split into a bunch of different timelines.

These are interesting theories. The appearances of Silver and Blaze are most likely given they too fall into the time-space category with Silver being from an alternate future and Blaze from her own universe, so they are likely to show up. If you think about it, each of the main alternate realities seem to focus on one of Sonic's friends, and we can also use this to potentially see how many other Shatter-spaces are there. There are four main colors to the Paradox Prism (red, blue, green, and yellow) and the shards of the Prism in each reality have a distinct color as well, and there are four people in Sonic's group aside from Sonic himself. New Yolk City (the red shard) has more of a focus on Nine Tails, the jungle world (the green shard) focuses on Thorn Rose, and the pirate world (the blue shard) has a focus on Knuckles the Dread. So, next season we will probably see a universe that focuses mainly on Rouge with the yellow shard. We probably won't see any alternate versions of Shadow because he used Chaos Control to escape being split unlike everyone else. But I would LOVE to see him fight the Chaos Council and crossing between realities himself. I personally love Scourge, but I don't know if he himself will appear in this show, but I think we may indeed get an evil version of Sonic that may serve as something of the final boss.

Sally, Manic, and Sonia yes since they are own by Sega and their tv shows are own by WildBrain Studios. The same company making Sonic Prime. Scourge is not possible because he’s own be Ken Penders the the company has to pay Penders money to use that character.

I think Nine turning evil is pretty much guaranteed and I really like it. An alternate version of tails really would be the ultimate enemy for Sonic, both because of how he’d challenge him using his smarts, but also because Sonic would struggle to fight him because he’s still Tails

And every crystal has a different power, the red one is a powerful energy source, the green one can grow pants, and looking at the floating rocks around the blue one, probably affects the terrain itself, that would explain the ocean, the prism sank green hills deep underwater, the desert one could have killed everything

I really want them to include the IDW verse in some way. From what I understand Sega wants to distance themselves from the Archie series as much as possible so there's no way it'll be included in this show, in fact Ian Flynn has wanted to bring the Freedom Fighters back but Sega won't let him, but the IDW series MIGHT be possible. Whether its a small cameo from a new IDW character(Maybe Surge or Tangle) or an entire episode where Sonic Prime's Sonic is in that universe.

I think in sonic prime I think for sonic to fix the shatterverse I think he needs to collect all the shards to come back to green hill. In season 1 appearance they had the red shard, green shard and blue shard which represents new yoke, jungle and pirate dimensions. If you guys have a look back in episode 1 then before the shatter their was a bigger shard which contains all the shards, which had red, yellow. green and blue. In season 2 I think the yellow shard will be a appearance later in season 2. My guesses also each shatter verse maybe has their own variants of the chaos emeralds, so we might see a look at super sonic later in season 2 or 3. This show is mostly based by the shards but shadow entered between shatter verses due to using chaos control which caused another shatter to the prism.

@@playerback7722 I believe shatterspaces are far closer together than universes are, considering that all the shatterspaces are based on the same thing, and all of them have a prism shard. I'm pretty sure the entire shatterverse is in one universe, and I doubt other universes will get involved.

Can I just point out that if you pay attention, in episode 6, when Nine is captured, he smiles at it, so him giving up the information might depend more on if Nine believes it would benefit him or not.

I’ve also heard predictions about IDW characters, mainly Tangle and Whisper appearing in the show. I saw a video on Twitter of one of the creators of the show saying that they might do it. Considering how Tangle was confirmed canon by Sonic Frontiers, I think it is very possible that they might make some sort of cameo sometime in the series and I’d love to see that happen. But what do you think?

everyone seems to think Nine will become a villain to me he just someone who can’t care too much about anyone else since no one cared about him or looked out for him and the reason there isn’t any alternative versions of Sonic is because the worlds are about there not being a Sonic Imagine if there was an alternative version and it was no other than Ugly Sonic I wonder if that would get fans raging or finding it funny like in Chip N Dale and I have the theory of the other 4 Eggmens being from those other universes even though they don’t look like they came from the places we saw since it weird that one universe has 5 egg men and it would explain what he was talking about with going home and it would be odd if there was a villain version of Big the cat since he seems quite pure

Here's a prediction that you should go over in a part 2. Remember how Shadow said that the primary universe apparently doesn't exist anymore? Well, the prediction is that the Shatterspaces were created from pieces of the destroyed world, and that all the counterparts living in them are pieces of the primary versions re-incarnated to fit with each one. As for why there are five Eggman variants in one Shatterspace and apparently none in the others, it could be the result of Dr. Eggman being the closest to the Paradox Prism when Sonic shattered it.

If Netflix wanted to keep the Sonic Prime for a while without sonic going back home they could obtain all of the shards and turns out they were only capable to turn sonic into a new variant of super Sonic able to travel to different shatterverses at will but green hills is to far out of reach so they have to perform heists to get the top tier electronics around the shatterverse
