Sonic RPG - Episode 7

The Reala fight was hard as balls as a kid. I went back and played it a couple of months ago and realized it was an easy as hell fight.

I remember spending all my weekends trying to figure out how to use chaos control without even able to read and understand a single word in English. Soooo nostalgic, man.

This was my childhood I was like 8 years old when I was playing this and that reala fight was a real challenge for me thanks to this game I started playing even more rpg games

Now that I look at it. Reala looks like a fusion of Shadow and Nights.

This was my favorite out of the Sonic RPG as a kid.

This was the point the series was stopped at when I first discovered it, and it was definitely the best entry at the time; the RPG combat had FINALLY been balanced well (or at least better than before, at any rate), the voice acting had improved (as well as the music choices), and the sprite animations were the best yet.

This really shows you how far Sonic RPG has come as well as how Sonic always can have a change of heart. Even when he feels compelled to want to kill someone, as seen in RPG 10, he chose to spare Seelkadoom when realizing why he was so strong to begin with and why he seemingly had endless amounts of stamina and Chaos Energy. With that out of the picture, he wouldn't be as "troublesome" as he was originally if the emeralds no longer can grant him power, due to the chant that Knuckles used to rid Seelkadoom of having and utilizing said Chaos Power.

LOL I WAS HEARING ALL THE FF FINAL BOSS MUSIC AND WHEN FF9 BEGINS, wow, I remembered this masterpiece dude!

I remember playing this back in like 2008 with my old computer from the 90s, this game would barely run and was very slow...man good times

The music of the main menu is incredible, epic, dreamy, it reminds me so much my childhood. Too much nostalgia I'm almost crying lol

I can't believe that in this entire movie, Sonic behaved like Goku

Overdrive: "SP Outbreak" does 9923 damage..... Kinda broken but also realy cool

Just a quick tip you can actually use up 4 of Shadow's chaos spear and still be able to do the overdrive no problem, and 3 Sonic spin dashes and still go into Super Form.

I remember how I struggled to fight Reala when I was 8 or 9 years old... After losing countless times I've finally fogured out strategy to beat him and I learned it by heart in order to impress my friends. It worked!

Reala was a dark souls boss of my childhood. I hated hell out of him for his insane amount of HP and badass looking versatile spells. The fact that you couldn't restore your mana wasn't helpful either.

Damn hearing dark messenger (Kuja's theme) from final fantasy 9 makes the Reala fight so awesome :O, sad I never played this... 👀

Man it’s been like 13 years when I played this game! Reala was very difficult to beat but later I figured out by myself how to beat him!

I don't understand one thing in the powerscaling; Nights clearly stated in episode 6 that he can beat Reala up once again like the last time, since he has the sapphire which makes him stronger than Reala but then Reala claims that he now has the advantage and is confident enough to fight Nights. Then Shadow in BASE form then can land blows on Reala and fight him, although base Shadow is weaker than Super Sonic and in Episode 2 or 3, Reala did easily beat up Super Sonic. Nights with the Sapphire is stronger than Super Sonic, and yet he needs Shadow's help who is in base Form to kill Reala. Shadow in Base form also killed the Ancient beast easily, even though the Ancient beast literally almost killed Super Sonic and Nights who was using the Power of the Sapphire. Like What??! How does that even make Sense? Even Knuckles beat Shadow up in the first episode!

It's really a big waste to use both heals at the same time. Let Nights do most of the healing as he has more MP. That way you could save up some energy for Shadow to do multiple energy beams, which are very effective of course. Also, don't use the SP Outbreak when you haven't emptied all of Shadow's Special Energy moves. Remember that Yellow Dash only uses half your Super Powers and Chaos Spear really doesn't do twice the damage
