Let's see what I noticed: -The meme's music replacing the act's actual music (Honestly better-fitting than Hi-Max) -A slightly different route than the actual game -Modern in full-scale (Rather than limited to what the genesis could show us) -The fact that Sonic made it to the exit without ANY ring consumption (Probably due to lack of rings) -The Act 3 Clear music in full Genesis soundfont (JUST like the original hack) along with a new text style for the actual display -The fall-down-to-earth ending seen in the original (Fun fact, you can slow down when your HUD goes away and the fire would have unloaded, meaning you could actually get an actual Time Over in the tunnel without dying by the fire) People show gameplay of the act, but you did a full RENDITION of the meme. If there's ever a remake of the Sonic Boom ROM hack, I want YOU to be a part of the remake's dev team!

yep, there are a few points correct in your analysis, but at first glance, It was just a way for me to practice some animation with my new model of Sonic (I made). I couldn't really recreate 100% accurately the original game, and it wasn't my intention, I wanted to use some assets I ripped from Sonic Games (such as Chemical Plant zone) and wanted to animate Sonic accordingly to those slopes and test out some stuff, and re-use the original Sonic Boom scenery with lighting and the fire behind. I actually had rings that were supposed to be used, but I literally forgot to enable them in the final render 🥲🥲 But the most important thing here for me is that I really enjoyed making an animation out of this, and I could learn a few more stuff in the process so I take that as an absolute win 😁

at 0:37 sonic runs past a ladder and runs back to it, he is running from a nuclear explosion, it took him about 1/2 of a second to go back to the ladder, and a nukes explosion moves at 784 mph. so this hedgehog had the spare time to RUN PAST HE'S MEANS OF ESCAPE, REALIZE IT, AND THEN RUN BACK TO IT, this damn hedgehog could get a drink from a vending machine waiting for a bullet to hit him

just wanna add that if you slow the video down to 0.5x, you can hear the sound sonic makes when hes running fast and then stops. It didn't even have to be there but the animator really added it just because he could and I'm sure most people never realised it

I feel like this should have been a concept for a level somewhere in an official game. eggman sets his lair to self destruct and instead of setting it to a timer he does it instantly because he knows a timer would be of no use to sonic's speed. thus forcing sonic to outrun an explosion with his superspeed

This is Absolutely insane you aced this right out the park the Scenery, Angels and music was Perfect I was thinking of small details as far as imagining sonic sweating or his gloves burning a little to show panic while he’s thinking of his friends and even a bigger jump of faith to show how rewarding it was to escape death.

This feels like if Sonic 2 was taken in a more serious Light (with the fact the ending scene with Sonic escaping the death egg in the OG felt bland as hell) this feels like he wants to feel the sunshine again and see his friends again. A perfect representation of what is run from danger. Insane animation and hope sega will be inspired by that for make serious levels like this. My only regret is I know it's a meme for longtime and based on the Sonic Boom rom hack power plant act 3 but seriously I prefer the Hi-max theme for Megaman X6 than Paranoia but it's just a personnal preference.
