Sonic Stop Motion Adventures: Episode 22: Date Fright

Two weeks have passed since Sonic and the gang put on a play to help out the Radniks, and Silver finds himself nervously asking Blaze out on a date, which she says yes to! Meanwhile, the Chaotix have just started up a dating advice service to, as Vector puts it, help out the general public in a "different" way. Seeing the commercial for said commercial, and feeling a great amount of anxiousness for his date, Silver heads to the Chaotix to get some dating advice, but is it any good?

For a while now, I've been wanting to "break the mold" that my episodes seem to have had in them for a while. I wanted to write and pull off a story that didn't involve any physical conflict or fight, but rather specific happenings with the characters. I personally think Episode 21, prior to this, has been the closest to that yet, but it didn't quite get there. I was also itching to do another episode that didn't focus on Sonic as the center. So here it is! Very excited to get feedback on this episode, as always! I hope you enjoy!

I'm not a silver fan. I found it pretty predictable with the typical advice that girls stray from nice guys and are attracted to bad boys. So be rude to her to get her attention. Wow nice advice, totally will help you get the girl.

Huh. I was really expecting Robotnik or Metal Sonic to come barging in at the last second, but the fact that you strayed away from the usual formula didn't make me love this episode any less. If anything, it shows that you can pull off any type of episode and still have it be spectacular. And the voice acting, which was present throughout the whole episode, was absolutely fantastic, especially Silver's performance by Lifeline, kudos to you dude. And I love the commercial and the way Vector was portrayed in this episode, just, nicely done man! :D

WOW! This series has to be one of the best Sonic Animations on this site!! I love how every episode turns out. Stop motion animation is hard and yet it turns out so smooth here, also the voice acting is great and the characters feel so round. It's just a really Awesome series to watch!!

I swear Steven can write better stories then the writers for Sonic Boom. I would much rather watch his series every Saturday! Great job on everything in this episode dude, love the potential and all the hard work on the sets, plot, story wise, and that 3cDonald's Diner was probably one of you're best sets you've ever made! I actually wish Silver would keep this gimmick on the show because he had me dying throughout the entire episode! "Why don't you polish that Gem while you're at it!" I was like "damn Silver calm down!" I'm pretty sure if this was on xvideos we would probably see a sex scene but ummmmm *Clears throat* but yeah this was an epic episode dude! I really love this whole 'pimp' Silver right here. Also could you give Big his own episode for once? Not trying to sound rude but i feel that the big guy could deserve some spotlight or at least make him have a return. #GiveBigachance

Your attention to detail is more on-point than ever!! The TV commercial scene was brilliant. The story was pretty cool, if not a little cliche. That was... AWESOME! This was a really good take on something different and it succeeded. The story was really good. I liked how you had it be that Sonic and Amy comes not just to help make Silver and Blaze feel less nervous but also to slap some sense into him. I also liked the whole you need to be yourself part at the end. Lol, the Chaotix need to stick to doing what they're good at. I also liked that part at the end where Silver's all "What happened to 100% guaranteed?" and stuff. Nice job on that. The sets for 3cDonalds looked really nice. I liked how there was a window in the background with the city and stuff (Yes, I watched the BTS vid). Where did you get those toy props BTW? You know, during the trailer, I was tricked into thinking Sonic and Amy were part of the dating advice service xD. But still, really nice episode. Let's hold the Chaotix back with this eh?

Whenever I close my eyes hearing Vector’s voice actor, that’s Grunkle Stan talking. And showing his scamming scheme for money in this episode does nothing to contradict that
