Then got to a Walmart in Alaska. Get a tube of superglue, a sponge, and UHD 86inch tv. You will then have to leave the store without paying and without being caught. Meet with a guy named Bartremus Hobsferateu Millardsmith the third, use the code after giving him a roll of toilet paper. He will reach into your pocket and say he’s left a gift. Only take out the gift twenty hours, twenty two minutes, and twenty two seconds later. Now sooner no later. You will then superglue the gift to the sponge and throw it your tv which is playing Titanic, specifically at the door scene. You have to have watched the whole movie to that point, no skipping. The tv with glitch and bring you to a screen asking for your social security number. Ignore it. Put in your phone number. You will get a call from Sonic himself, asking you to find his wife. You will find her in the Amazon rainforest and then and only then. Do you use the secret password that Bartremus Hobsferateu Millardsmith the third give you for giving him a high five. And then you finally get a code for a free meal at Arby’s, specifically in Montana. Go there, meet Millardsmith again to get the code for a bank vault in London. You’ll need to hire a team, preferably people who know what they’re doing and have never failed a job. Go to the White House and kidnap the president, you’ll need his retail ID for the vault. Get to London, the entire British military will be expecting you. Lucky for you, you have the president hostage. Find the Bank on the corner of Leadenhall and Billiter. Kill everyone inside. Revive them using the necromancy book you got from Area 51. Use your undead army to hold off the military while you use the code to get in the vault. And now, you will finally get the code from Queen Liz for your Shadow skin DLC.
Well not this stuff At least you get metal robots for skins Also this isn't really THAT horrendous, if you don't want them don't fork over 15 bucks before it releases idk what to say Remember super sonic for a buck in forces? Or having to pay for dlc levels in unleashed when they should have been base game? Or the origins flowchart or the colors ultimate one? Not gonna defend this super hard, it's a lot of ways to get skins but that's how you get signed up for updates on the games stuff and give Sega some extra money What should be dlc is hard to quantify all the time
For a $60 sidescroller they should already be in the game in the first place... If the game was $40 I could maybe forgive the Day 1 DLC a bit, and it helps pay for the Lego license costs, but no way this game is worth $75...
no bc my gf had NO IDEA what a kroger was so i’m sitting here like. how the fuck are people supposed to go to kroger when that shit doesn’t even exist in some areas
allegedly, Ken Penders owns the rights to that now despite it being from Sonic OVA. That might be why. Since it was released for free, they were probably able to get away with it being in "The Murder on Sonic the Hedgehog"
Blaze skin: go to a Walmart, buy specifically 30 peanuts(not a box or a pack specifically 30) climb on top of the Walmart and throw the peanut at 31 cars (one peanut per car)
Hyper sonic skin dlc:first you go to school and eat food in the cafeteria there is a 0.0001 percent there is a code in your French fries then you must then smear it in ketchup and then type it in
I am willing to bet those last two items will be available at a later date for purchase. Because it would be extremely unfair to steam and anyone without a Krogers in their region of the country
At the very least I hope. But I didn’t know these would be a thing, thank you for making this video. They look way past cool to be locked behind some random store
@@triohazard6104 I seriously doubt it will be ENTIRELY this bad. On steam and in certain regions on other platforms, you can just download the Soap Shoes for Frontiers. Also on PC, people have made mods that let you pirate the soap shoes because of their email-exclusivity before they became free on steam. So if stuff stays weirdly locked out for a long time, I'm sure modders will make something to keep all this archived
@@samcandles that's true but still my faith in Sega is fading every day they really don't know how to treat their popular brands without being dumb and greedy.
@@AyanamiRei0I think Yakuza/ Like a Dragon does this very well because yes it has some DLC but they are very cheap and the games go on offer quite regularly.
It's been years that i am dreaming about a cell shading sonic game. Here we have cell shaded skin. It's pretty cool ! But i am french. So i can't have them. Cool...
You know this is to be expected. Every Sonic game always comes with catch, and since this is the most well polish and amazing game ever, then the game has to be screwed over another way
Why do companies do this, what happened to just put the stuff in the online store and buy it or better yet, just have it as an unlockable in the game at launch?
Don't fall for segas cheap attempts at getting yoir day 1 purchase ir trying to get you to spend the mkst money. I took the bait with irigins by buying the fun pack a few days after launch cone to find out they put all of it in origins plus a year later. Most if not all of these skins will be in the game at launch or cone to the game later,They could pull some paid dlc bullshit but after literally nobody bought the origins plus dlc, they might not see it as fibancially viable. DO NOT ZYPPORT THESE NICKLE AND DIME SCHEMES
Yeah for real, I already knew this was just that. Trying to get as much money day 1 or at least the first week of launch. If what you're saying with origins is true I hope all of this can be added later for free or at least be more easily available, if not well I ain't buying the game. And I was really looking forward to this too before they pulled this bullshit. Thank God I'll still play Mania as that game is extremely fun
How they charge $60 for this game in the first place is a joke to me.. Doesn’t exactly qualify for a full price… And on top of that dlc??? This is what the militant sonic fan boys are allowing sega to do… Stop praising mediocrity and start calling out scummy companies… Regardless if they own your favourite cartoon hedgehog or not…
That's what I've been saying. We have done that before with Super Sonic in Forces where they tried to charge money for it and we called it out, then they back peddled and made it free. Why are the Sonic fanboys and girls deciding now they don't want to see reason and call out their B.S again is why the future of Sonic is gonna be a mess. I personally don't mind it being $60 cause it does look solid gameplay wise, and plus 2D games can be $60 but they have a lot to prove content wise. But locking things for a additional price and unnecessary easter egg hunting is where I have problems with this game. And since they want to have it priced at $70 plus groceries at launch it's now competing with not only every $60 game, but every PS5 game and Tears of the Kingdom, I'll wait for a sale
I was so prepared to get all riled up over Silver Sonic being called Mecha Sonic, but apparently that’s actually what he’s called in Japan, so fair enough.
@@samcandlesSame here, and it sucks even more considering Superstars needs all the help it can get to survive it’s October 17th release date. The last thing this game needs is bad press. It’s like Sega wants Sonic to fail.
At least on Switch, they provided a Digital Deluxe Upgrade DLC, which gives you the Digital Deluxe items if you get the regular digital or physical versions. I wnat to believe that's also the case for the other storefronts. No excuse for the supermarket one, though.
Whaaaat?!? All that for a DLC for Sonic Superstars?!? That really is a total mess, really stupid, difficult and a waste of time and money. What the heck?!?
I thought those weird Kroger skins were only for Japan and Europe. If I can get them in the US I’m heading straight to Kroger and buying things just for those skins
they actually added the modern amy skin to steam on the newsletter, i signed up for it and it let me choose steam, nothing on the cel shaded skins until modders eventually mod them back in
The only one I don’t have is the Cel-Shaded, because I don’t even know where to begin with Kroger, I don’t even know if there’s any near me to buy stuff from!
It's also weird to have modern Amy in Sonic Superstars, which is a classic Sonic game that takes place after Sonic Mania. Remember when we speculated that Shadow could be a playable character, but was debunked by Sega that modern Sonic characters can't exist in Classic Sonic games, which is very inconsistent now that they're including a modern Amy skin.
Sheesh! This sounds like one of those "Do these ridiculous things to fight Shen Long in Street Fighter 2" jokes, but it's actually real! Who's gonna want to do all this, anyway? Why not just have all the DLC? Why all this exclusivity? No one's gonna want to do all this! And the worst part is that they did this for Sonic Origins, too! is this just gonna be the norm for Classic Sonic DLC? Cause it sounds like it's gonna be a real mess! >.
To get the Super Mario Bros Skins you needs to preorder tickets for the Super Mario Bros Movie and you need to 100% Mario Wonder and you will unlock them
