Somebody has an explanation for why is it necessary to instal asio4all on windows to work with sound properly? Always wondered why it IS note intégrantes to windows...
Because Microsoft only prioritised consumer audio requirements until now and ASIO requires a license. Better to use hardware audio interfaces that come with a dedicated ASIO driver for Windows.
@sonicstate Understatement..... if like me you were a backer of the 3 Oct Loom 😡. All reads as large sum of cash, mis-managed (or worse?....). Looked great product concept & proto.
Anyone still using a PC for anything other than gaming--much less trying to do creative work on it without the inevitable driver, installation and compatibility headaches--deserves all the hurt MicroShaft can throw at them. It's like using a beeper instead of a smartphone in 2024. There's this thing called a Mac. I can send you information non it. What your fax number?
I would use a macbook if it offered a version with a touchscreen.I don't care for controllers and such. So I use a Surface Pro and iPad. If I could run pro software on the iPad I wouldn't have to bother with Windows drivers.
This reminds me of the classic Monty Python sketch, "The Argument Clinic." "I'd like to have an argument please. I'd like to start with the full argument, and then if it goes well then I'd like to sign up for a course."
Condescending? I’m not used to that behaviour on this channel. I hope you are just being humorous. I have a gazillion reason to stick to Windows that have nothing to do with making music, and still I feel no need to invest in both Windows and Mac at the same time. Something to do with money and additional OS complexity.
@@newignis Condescension is standard on the internet, including RU-vid, and occasionally on this channel from folks talking out of their smelly anuses.
