You've missed out. You need to get an emulator and play through the whole game - if only for the music. Sonic 2 & 3 (and the Knuckles Add-On) have some of the greatest music, not just in video game format, but of all time. Check out Ice Cap Zone - it was actually a single written by a band that worked on the Sonic Soundtrack but was never released. I think it finally came out 20 years later as an actual single on a B-Sides collection by the band.
