Ah Sonic 06, it was quite the love-hate relationship with this game. It was my first Sonic game in years since all I played during my teen years were Call of Duty and Halo. On one hand it felt great to play a Sonic game after so many years and the music was absolutely amazing. On the other... well.. I'm sure you all know about the bugs and stuff. I honestly probably would have never remixed this song but this was a Patreon request for Dragon Rush. (Here's his channel: bit.ly/2owomn7) Thank you so much! One thing you've gotta hand to Sonic Team: No matter how shitty the games are, they always have kick-ass soundtracks. Sonic '06, Sonic and the black Knight, Sonic Adventure 2 (yeh i said it come fite meh) and even Sonic Lost World, to a certain extend! But then Sonic Boom came and shat all over that.

Sonic Boom wasn't made by SEGA, they just gave some obscure company the rights to it. As long as they're actually making the games, the soundtrack is instantly a work of art.

It was funny, I was talking with my friend about Sonic ‘06 and I said “You gotta hand it to em, they always have a kickass theme going on regardless of the games quality.” And he replied “No, Sonic ‘06 was all bad!” The next day I showed him this remix and he asked: “WOW! What game is this from?!” And I replied “Sonic ‘06... you were saying about how every part sucks?” And walked away like a boss.

Ay you show him. I think it’s an accepted thing that Sonic 06 has the best soundtrack. It was meant to be an awesome game but the gameplay went down the shitter. The story was still good tho and character arcs too. Shadow was best portrayed in 06 and Silver had a good arc even tho he was a bit retarded at first

66 Roses it would be better if they didn't focus on Elise too much and gave more development to Sonic story since he did the same thing over and over again, but the one good thing about the story is Shadow's story in my opinion.

Say what you will about '06 but you can't deny that, not only was the music bone crunchingly awesome, but Mephilis was one of the best villians(Yea I said it. Fight me) and had one of the best themes ever. (PLUS I DONT FIND SONIC 06 THAT BAD)
